northriddenâ:
The bears of Tranquility had their uses â they were less argumentative than the rats, for one, and generally a little kinder than the birds. And, more actively relevant, they sold better clothing; muted colors, long sleeves, comfortable fabrics. (It was almost amusing, how nice softer fabric felt, how little it pressed at them â Alexis could grow used to this. Maybe they would. They didnât like growing used to things â it bred complacency. Softness.
But the brass hairclip they were settling into their hair, carved into a twig; that was nice, too.)
Theyâd been planning to sit and check the newsfeeds on their holophone, but the bench outside was occupied â well, no matter. Who were they, someone whoâd be offended to sit that close to another? Alexis didnât particularly care; they sat down next to him anyways. Heâd wake or he wouldnât. It didnât matter to them.
Hyurs everywhere. As far as he could see, and much more. The stars twinkled heavily, the stars themselves much different then what he is used to. What could he do now, without the purpose gifted to him. He wants to go back, to ishgard. To home.Â
âIt is hard to believe, that this is all real. That many have been taken.â he murmurs, voice soft but voice oh so deep. It was not, the most ideal situation to talk right now. But if he suffered more in silence, he would snap. And this one had became his first unwilling victim to avoid sufferage.Â
âAre you as new as me to this, or is your star so much more advance that you did not even blink.â The holophone was pulled out and he stares at it, as if its alien. And it is.Â
