The Grimton Chronicles

Anything is possible in Grimton.

Grimton is the kind of place they write stories about. Surrounded by dense, foggy forest you may be lucky enough to catch a flighting glimsp of the infamous Sasquatch. If the moon is full you may hear the phantom howl of a wolf - is it just a wolf?

Settled in 1885 by Falito Grimaldi. Falito heard the whispers of the fortunes that has been found in the north western part of the United States and made plans to stake his claim. He invested every cent he had brough with him from Italy. What he found was untamed wilderness and a place where he could express the culture of his homeland without a sideways glance. Falito was a naturally welcoming person, and welcomed anyone who was looking for sanctuary - as long as you could be realtively peaceful with other settlers.

The new settlers dubbed the town Grimton, after its founder and their friend. The residence of Grimton quickly got wind of the local legends of the area from the native people. From the illusive and solitary Sasqwet (Sasquatch) to the massive Thunderbird. Everything seems to happen in Grimton. Some say it's because it's where the lay-lines cross - most don't have a reason, they just accept it.

Grimton is the kind of place that will make a believer out of the most hard-core skeptic.

Outsiders say it all started with Falito Grimaldi himself, that he laid a curse upon the town upon his passing. Residence know this not to be true. The Grimaldi's still reside in Grimton and still look after its residence - living, dead, human, animal, or otherwise.
