first in a long line of scribbles to come--I have a big file of me just doodling fanart of the game and while swapping between my folders for Dex and Ben, found their portraits sitting next to each other like uhhhh this? highkey giving the awkward party meme.

on the poster shown in the opening of the game and the level select menu, idol 5's screen is broken (possibly shot out). we know from the blacklight poster that they traded their soul for "freedom", and the word "forgotten" can also be seen

my theory is that after charlie's death / the band breaking up, idol 5 no longer wanted to be associated with dead as disco and tried to distance themself. the wording on their poster could refer to:

the freedom to BE forgotten, and escape the expectations placed upon them from their time with the band

they could be, literally, the forgotten member of dead as disco if they wished to be free from it. maybe the other bandmates don't even remember them at first (aside from charlie, since he was dead and all). we don't know if harmony has that kind of mental influence but it could be interesting

that they've abandoned and "forgotten" what they really wanted by selling out to a corporation that will never grant them true freedom

Sherry is my attempt at drawing fat/chubby people so that's why there's no consistent body type on her form. I was too exhausted to redraw it all properly 😭

I changed some of the colors on the relationship chart bc I was having a hard time telling some of the colors apart. Just a personal thing. Her envy with Dancer is just bc I headcanon Dancer as very free-spirited, and Sherry is shy, so she envies Dancer's ability to just be open and free with herself! All healthy stuff.
