I disagree with this 100% while it doesn't necessarily show acceptance, gender neutral pronouns are just that, neutral it's not misgendering because it's not applying gender to them at all. I have a habit of using neutral pronouns especially if I'm not sure which the person in question will prefer and if someone gets offended over me trying to not offend them they can fuck right off
