My Towen loving heart could hardly stand this episode. Lots of Teddy though, yay!

Scene 1 - I love seeing Teddy let loose with Koracick, notice Owen walks up and the tone completely changes - awkward. She even kindof tried to hide it until Tom said “convenient” and Teddy replied “right”

Scene 2 - One of the themes of this season seems to be patients who get to the crux of the surgeon’s current personal dilemma. Anyone else sortof feel tortured that Teddy’s patient was a metaphor for Towen’s history? The difference? Lucille is Owen, Marvin is Amelia (or historically Christina,Beth), and Jules is Teddy. The best friend who gallantly stands by through thick and thin. I’ll add that I love seeing Teddy work with the residents, Helm in this case, “seniors rocking the poly, like it!” (Hilarious line)

Scene 3 - Coming from the medical field I just have to add that Teddy did patient education very softly, (very un-physician like😂) I loved it. Oh Koracick, you continue to make us laugh “It’s called being wrong dear” (Hilarious line) I’d like to reinforce how the writer’s are torturing us with what we already know lol. Just one more time. And what Teddy already knows! “Marvin is my husband, but Jules, ah, he’s my best friend” 🙄

Scene 4 - Here we go with the star-crossed lovers talk😭. I think this scene was mostly to show Koracick’s observation on the Towen history, because, like I said, this is nothing Teddy doesn’t already know! So they are getting at that Jules aka Teddy is the torchbearer (I beg to differ since the feelings have been mutual between Towen, but I get what they are getting at) and Marvin aka Amelia is “the one getting burned” (according to the writers😂)

Scene 5 - Marvin talking to Teddy, so cute but also heartbreaking “they made a decision, a long time ago to let their love be the easy kind, they let it be friendship” Okay, so if we take this line at face value, and the decision Teddy makes in scene 6 we’d be heartbroken because that would mean Towen will just be friends. But lets face it, we all know that’ll never be true in the end, and the writing just doesn’t make sense for this to be “it” They wouldn’t hint this hard, if so. At least I don’t think they would. I love the decision (presumably director’s decision) to transition this scene to the next patient’s room (Teddy looking over at Owen who is obviously distressed over the situation with Leo). She follows him to the stairwell like the gallant best friend she is, making sure he is okay.

Scene 6 - Teddy and Koracick at their hotel. Okay, this scene was so cute. Teddy didn’t even deny her feelings for Owen, but she apparently decided, with a little help from her patient’s situation, that her and Owen are basically just meant to be friends. To quote Teddy, “even if the feelings are so big... and...” Anyone else feel Teddy talking herself into this decision? not just Koracick😂. I can’t blame her. But I still think Towen historically denies, and continues to deny, their feelings because “it’s complicated” And there go all the Towen loving hearts breaking. Gawd I love Kim’s acting. The little nuances she does do not go unnoticed (The step forward, the little watery glimmer in her eye when Teddy makes the decision to go for it with Koracick) You can tell she’s happy but also sad because in her eyes she’s making the final decision that her and Owen will never be more than friends. (We all know that’s not true), but Kim is portraying the hell outta Teddy’s feeling in the moment. Idk what direction Toddy is going in, but I’m here for it. I ship happy Teddy.

The writing is confusing me. One episode Omelia is together. One episode they are having issues. Can the Omelia fandom at least acknowledge that Omelia had issues last episode, and Teddy wasn’t even involved. Their conflicts, aren’t all Teddy related. There is something about tense subjects, historically, that they haven’t been able to work through. Or at least they haven’t figured it out yet. Maybe last episode was too personal with the addiction subject, Betty and Amelia’s similarities, and Owen didn’t understand, or couldn’t understand. I think he wants to he just isn’t there yet. His anger about being blindsided by Betty was clouding him, maybe? But he was an ass to Amelia.

Idk how to feel about Koracick, and where that is headed friendship-wise or potentially romantically?, but I ship Happy Teddy.

Even with little dialogue you can tell Teddy is falling in love with her baby. It’s adorable.

I feel your 15x10 review didn’t include the whole picture. Why do you include her #? It perpetuates hate.

I do really hope it works for Omelia this time, and they are all in because if not it’s going to have major fallout for all involved. Teddy will survive, and if she finds a friend in Koracick, thank gawd. She is a goofy, honest, loving person, I’m sorry you don’t see this.

Additionally, why are you only including half baked misinterpretations in your post? Teddy never hated on Alex Karev, give me a break. She said “time is weird.” The last time she saw Karev he was an intern! Next - Teddy’s feelings are valid about Maggie, and she has every right to stick up for herself. She is very patient face to face to Maggie. Unlike Maggie who continues to voice her “personal contempt.” It should be the other way around, but Teddy is flying high. Let us not forget Maggie broke her HIPPA oath, and shared personal information without consent. And lastly - Teddy stated twice that Owen and Amelia are back together.

Amelia: All of her reactions were true to the character, and understandably she was emotional about hearing that Owen was having a baby (knowing how life changing a baby is, knowing Owen’s longing for one of his own, and her feelings about being ready to be a parent). Not to mention she was stuck in an elevator with Owen continuing to press the subject wanting to talk about it right then and there. Caterina’s acting was perfect. I loved her look after the “16 weeks” line, and the stairwell with Owen of course (some of Amelia’s lines could have come off rude if it wasn’t for the emotion Caterina put behind them) Future: I’m wondering if they will bring up the fact that Meredith and Maggie knew. Also loving seeing her with Koracick in the extended promo.

Owen: At first I was unsure in what direction this episode was going to go because his tone started out harsh. It’s totally Owen though to get worked up at first to work through his feelings, and then sit back and realize the reality. “Hey. We’re gonna have a baby.” Future: I think we will see the Teddy/Owen friendship back in 15B where they confide in each other, and also obviously work though the journey of becoming parents together.
