But honestly?????? I the more I think about it, the more I kinda just think. He looks like that in my art cause he's younger in the big-shot era. So of course he looks like a twink. He literally is one.
At least at that point in time.

I'm not even a big fan of the current Spamton being a twink (just my personal preference, do what makes you happy!), but I think it's pretty funny (actually not funny at all, it's VERY annoying) how some people get *really* bothered when someone draws Spamton as a "twink."
Meanwhile, this is official Spamton art *in his Big Shot era*:
No sideburns, no facial hair, no thick eyebrows. Sorry to break it to you, but hyper masculine Spamton is *fanon*.
I think people forget that Spamton was *just like the Addisons*.
Their default pose is literally the "gay hand" lmao
He's worn dresses before the Big Shot Era and after because he likes the NEO body (a body with lots of pink and high heels). He's canonically GNC, at least sometimes.
Stop complaining or getting upset about people doing harmless things like drawing twink Spamton and play the game, you will see that it's actually much closer to canon. Or at least learn to scroll when you see content you don't like.
I also feel like there's a lot of prejudice against twinks in the fandom (in every fandom, actually). You know that twink is a body type that many queer men have, right? You know that a twink body is not and never has been the standard of beauty for cishet men, right? Many people are just body shaming and being homophobic without even realizing it.
Also, some people try to call the current Spamton look "sleazy", and it's literally just a homeless guy without basic rights that everyone should have, and ripped clothes because he doesn't have other clothes to wear. Some peopel are very weird and don't seem to understand that Spamton isn't like this by choice or because he wants to be.
"ughhh I draw my big shot era spamton too pretty" that's fine he's supposed to look like a normal dude and it's totally in character for him to try to be extra and try to out serve the other addisons. this is the same guy who looked at a discarded jpeg of mettaton's gender euphoria and went "I need that more than life itself" and chased it with reckless abandon. he's trans, he's already dabbled in crossing gender lines just by existing. spamton facing a harsh drastic twink death is entirely canon compliant. but you should balance it out by making his current era look that much more terrifying and different, cosmic horror junji ito style smiley face :)
While watching a theory video I paused and I noticed that when the stupid paper mache Spamton fades out you can see his eyes behind the black bar. At this point I'm just convinced Addisons have their eyes closed eternally like Brock

i love every single au i've come across so far but this one took the cake. i love the og UT spamtenna but MONSTER/HUMAN UT just hits different.
i love the original concept but i've been listening to too much centaurworld ost, and had been hyperfocusing on the idea of Tenna's 'Lord' status in canon, and seeing how that carries. Notes and more doodles below:

I JUST WANTED TENNA TO BE FANCY IN TRUTH, cuz im a sucker for period dramas. There's a lot i remember floating from twitter but the one i saw the most was like placing spam and tenna in medieval times (to show how long ago its been i guess since humans walked with monsters and used magic).
I tweaked it and borrowed the ant monster design for this cuz I LOVE IT TO BITS OH MY GOODNESS. SO notes:
Tenna is a monster close to the Dreemurrs and got his title on a whim (they thought it'd be fun) he's REALLY close to boss monster but just misses the mark (think more if he were injuried he'd persist like Undyne). While a lord he really is just that fun friend, the monsters love him for being so charismatic and always being entertaining.
Spamton is from a family of human merchants, want him to take on the family biz but his ways are a lil....theatrical. Family doesnt really like how outgoing he is, so Spamton spends his time out closer to monster kind. He met Tenna, they loved eachother's vibes and the rest is history!
Tenna often forgets he has a status among monsterkind, but then he hangs out with Asgore and Toriel who are also pretty lax about it. It was something that REALLY suprised Spamton when he found out, only because....son of some merchants and a HUMAN at that. Made him kinda self conscious but Tenna was there to reassure him it changes nothing between them.
When conflicts between monsters and humans reached a boiling point, Tenna had the idea to leave off somewhere where they could be together. Spamton was hesitant, because things were so bad outside and even within their immediate circle. He agreed soon after tho, while Tenna wanted to leave immediately, Spamton asked one more day to get his affairs in order moving is a lot of work afterall!
Spamton all the while was facing problems at home and communially. Humans glared at him for knowing or suspecting what he goes off doing with monsters, a BIG one at that. Monsters in turn didn't take to him because of guilt by association, he can't help being born a human. The plan would never come to, war had broke out but Spamton was determined to make his way to their meeting place to wait for Tenna (taking supplies and old armor/some costume from their performances to at least look intimidating). He'd eventually be caught (by human, monster, or both), and in the scuffle he perished. Tenna finds him but all too late, just barely hanging onto life. Too much blood, the wounds and blows too deep. Tenna scrambled to find some kinda healing but on the way Spamton dies in his arms. and it rounds back to the comic above. yvu doomed love, torn by grief and war.
