drowning in the sewer 2019
this album by sewerslvt is phonk? breakcore? noise core? i have no clue, but i like it. there's little to no lyrics and is mostly just electronic noise and abstract beats. the theme of the whole album is dark, not in a gloomy way but like back alley at 2am, silent hill-esc. i like to do homework or play games with this type of music. its not for everyone but there's a group who like noise and im part of that.
the second 68'
instead of doing my hw, im gonna talk about stuff. i would classify the second by steppenwolf (known for born to be wild) as a psychedelic rock album, i know very controversial. i didn't really know much about steppenwolf other than there's some plays i think happening in chicago also named steppenwolf, im not sure if they're related (prolly not). anyways im a big fan of this album right now cause it has this enchanting swing and overall joy throughout the songs. to me, the album is adventurous and knows it and wants whoever is listening to also go out of the comfort zone and try something new. i like to listen to it when i need an energy boost, somethin to tap my foot to and bounce when i walk. the album gives me just the right amount of energy and confidence to help me do whatever it is i don't want to.
american pop 81'
first watched the movie with my dad n he described it as a weird movie (in a good way). i mean he was right it was weird, but in just looks, the style is almost too close to real it gets a little strange. i thought it was okay at first, but i re watched it recently and i like it a lot more. its fun n dramatic enough to keep my attention and it had some killer music. a good look into music history and evolution with great characters. def reccomend
man i love jerry cantrell... go watch the music video
