DC Fics I Wrote! 📝
Hi! If you've ever sent me a prompt in the past few years, and I couldn't get to them, I'm truly sorry. I thought that I would be able to eventually write them, but I don't think that's the case anymore. Thanks for your understanding!

“Why are you here?” Hal asks, feeling the beginning of a headache pounding in his skull.
The kid stops chewing on Hal’s potato chips and looks at him as if he’s stupid for asking a reasonable question. “Because Batman hates you the most, duh.”
(Or: Robin!Jason ventures out on an adventure in Coast City.)
our eyes are looking at the sky (apricitas part ii)
“Brother,” Cass murmurs, ruffling Damian’s hair contentedly. “Did you skip school?”
“Only the last period.” Damian moves away from Cass’ hand a beat too late.
“Oh great,” Hal mutters under his breath. “He skipped a class. I can only imagine the next League meeting. Someone will be all - Lantern, we need to talk about your bad influence in making kids skip school.” He narrows his eyes and points a finger at all of them. “I will not forgive you if that goes on my official League records.”
“Please,” Jason says. “I’ve seen your records. It’s not like it’s pristine to begin with.”
(Or: Jason makes a trip out of town to run away from emotions. This time, Cass and Damian follow. Hal is done with everything, thank you very much.)
it’s always sunny in coast city (apricitas part iii)
Jason flashes Hal the black credit card between his fingers. The name Bruce Wayne is printed on it in golden, cursive letters. He says, “My teenage rebellion phase is long overdue. Get in loser, we’re going shopping.”
“This is your third existential crisis this year,” Hal replies, but he gets into the Lamborghini and pulls out his phone to text Carol about missing work, because who is he to say no to putting a dent in Bruce Wayne's wallet?
(Or: a road trip for people who, for once, choose to deal with emotions.)
yesterday's gone, yeah it went away (i've been lost but i'm here today)
“It’s not about the lack of love,” Steph says, propping her head on one hand. “That’s why it’s taking them so long to heal.”
Well, Cass thinks. That just doesn't make sense.
leave the light on
When Selina Kyle signed up to be Bruce Wayne’s partner, she failed to take several things into the equation:
Saying permanent goodbye to stealing from museums, wearing his tacky ring, and being surrounded by his ever growing collection of children, especially the one who can see ghosts.
“Hmm,” she says. “Are you done avoiding me?”
“I was never avoiding you,” Jason replies, very obviously not putting any effort in his lie that she’s a bit offended.
(Or: Selina and Jason hang out for a day.)
and we live again
“What the hell,” Jason says, because his mind has played him countless tricks in his dreams but none as vivid. Because he knows damn well that it wasn’t a dream. He opens his eyes and looks up. Bruce’s mouth is drawn into a thin line.
“Yes,” Bruce says.
And so it begins.
Live. Die. Repeat.

children of the universe
Tim thinks whatever happened with Jason Todd is the reason why Bruce Wayne stopped stealing.
Cass thinks whatever happened with Jason Todd is the reason why Bruce Wayne stopped being happy.
"I’m saying this for your own good,” Dick says, his voice low. “You’re not invincible, Cass. One of these days Bruce’s past will catch up with him and I don’t want any of you to be in the blast zone.”
“All the more reason that I should stay,” she says.

defiant until the sun rises
"The bat symbol on his chest was red," Dick continues, as if Jason didn't speak. "He came out of nowhere and I tried to stop him, but it was dark. He was quick and ruthless, and – he moved exactly like Bruce."
What happened was this:
Years ago, a father and son went to Ethiopia. Only the son came back.
Or so they thought.
