Thank you for making me feel less alone when I needed it most, for giving me characters I could see myself in, and for reminding me that it's okay to be who I am, even while I'm still figuring myself out.

Thank you for making me laugh, cry, and feel so many emotions. Thank you for showing that love, friendship, and kindness really can change someone's life.

To some people, you may just be a story, but to me, you've been so much more. You've given me hope, comfort, and the feeling that I'm not alone.

I don't think I'll ever be able to fully express what Heartstopper has meant to me, but I'll always carry this story in my heart.

remember, the first Pride was a riot, and she was one of the brave souls who endured it to help carve the path which so many of us walk today. she helped found several activist groups regarding LGBT safety and wellbeing. and she was absolutely radiant, too.
