The gravest sin is to let animosity, bigotry, hatred, and lies dictate our course, instead, let us nurture feelings of love and truthfulness, and cultivate a spirit of understanding that is the true essence of humanity.

The most beautiful friendship often sprouts from the seeds of shyness, watered by the willingness to approach, and nurtured by the warmth of bonding.

The greatness of a country is measured not by its wealth or military might, but by its benevolence and tolerance towards others.

An enlightened person doesn't crave to be right or have the last word in every debate, argument, and discussion by becoming hostile and uncompromising. Instead, they show acceptance towards differing viewpoints, tolerance towards opposing stances, bravery when challenged, and humbleness when proven wrong.

"Don’t y’all even let them kinda folks git under yer hide, let ’em git above yer hide so’s yer skin don’t git took advantage of, ya hear?"
Ain’t no sense fightin’ with neighbors, ‘cause you’re bound to see ‘em at church, the gas pump, or borrowin’ sugar.
"Why, there they are, both baked in this pie, Whereof their mother daintily hath fed, Eating the flesh that she herself hath bred. ’Tis true, ’tis true! Witness my knife’s sharp point."
– Titus Andronicus
The enemy of your rival will stand beside you when it suits them and nothing else, but remember the friend of your enemy is a convenience rather than a real friend such as your rival, who in return won't become the catalyst for change or destruction.

The greatest danger to any nation and democracy is not a political party or even politicians but the collective ignorance that makes us susceptible to manipulation and division perpetuated by those who hold the information and the truth hostage.
– Unknown
When we allow the realm of politics to dictate our friendships, we surrender to the same stubbornness that mires us in diplomatic gridlock. Let not weakness nor grudges stain our bonds, else we become the very paranoia we fear.
– Unknown
Allowing politics to guide our judgments can cloud the vision of mature adults. We need to be willing diplomats instead of stooping to their level, which is nothing more than weakness and stubbornness.

The Wrath of Typhon on New England
From realms unseen, where ether swirls and sighs,
A shadow fell across New England skies.
No gentle zephyr, whispering through the pines,
But Typhon's wrath, in thunderous, dark designs.
He came, a titan forged in ancient night,
To claim this land, and snuff the morning light.
His descent began, a comet's fiery tear,
Rending the heavens, sowing dread and fear.
Olympus watched, with hearts both cold and frail,
As Typhon's vengeance rode upon the gale.
For Earth had spurned the gods, had turned away,
To worship progress, and a lesser day.
Then, from the clouds, a ghastly legion spun,
The Furies wailing, their fell work begun.
With Nemesis, whose scales weighed every deed,
They sought the guilty, planting seeds of greed.
Athena, wise, her wisdom turned to scorn,
Hera, enraged, had her royal mantle torn.
And Aphrodite, beauty turned to blight,
Her rosy touch, a venomous, cruel night.
Against this host, a different fury rose,
The Maenads are wild, with frenzied, tangled woes.
No gentle priestesses, with laurel crowned,
But daughters of the earth, with power unbound.
From shadowed valleys, where the hemlocks weep,
They answered Typhon, from their slumber deep.
Their leader, Agave, eyes like burning coals,
A primal force, that gripped the very souls.
Beneath the soil, where granite mountains slept,
Eldritch horrors stirred, their secrets kept.
Dagon arose, from ancient, watery graves,
His fishy gaze, consuming land and waves.
Hydra, many-headed, coiled in dark despair,
Its venomous breath pollutes all the air.
And Charybdis, deep within the ocean's maw,
Threatened to swallow all, defying the law.
The Maenads danced, a wild and savage grace,
Their movements mirrored in the heavens' space.
Against the goddesses, their struggle burned,
A battle was fought, where ancient lessons were learned.
Athena's spear met Agave's earthy might,
While Hera's wrath ignited the endless night.
Aphrodite's charms, a fragile, fading guise,
Against the Maenads' raw and primal cries.
The Furies shrieked, accusing every soul,
Their whips of guilt, taking their heavy toll.
Nemesis stalked, with vengeful, measured tread,
Weighing the living, judging all the dead.
The skies grew thick, with sulfurous, acrid fumes,
As Typhon's presence, sealed the land's doom.
Then, from the depths, Poseidon, god of the sea,
Rose in defiance, wild and fiercely free.
His trident flashed, a beacon in the gloom,
Challenging Typhon, sealing his own doom.
Zeus, from Olympus, hurled a lightning bolt,
A futile gesture, lost within the revolt.
For Typhon's power, swelled beyond control,
A ravenous hunger, consuming every hole.
The people cowered, in fear and deep despair,
As ancient gods, they fought battles in the air.
Their homes were shattered, their fields were laid to waste,
By the vengeful titan, in unholy haste.
New England's beauty, once so bright and fair,
Now choked in darkness, consumed by the very essence that will scar and scare.
Yet, even in the face of utter dread,
A glimmer of hope, remained, though barely bred.
For courage flickered, in a farmer's eye,
A spirit unbroken, refusing to die.
The battle raged, beneath the stormy sky,
And New England's fate hung perilously high.
The Typhon's scourge had scarred the land with pain,
But whether victory or ruin would be maintained,
Remained to be seen, as the dawn began to break,
Upon a world, teetering on the brink of forsake.
Breasts may heal the body more than bread, herbs, and remedies, yet the soul, pierced by the arrow of sorrow, heals only with the salve of time and love.

Let not our vision be clouded by prejudices and biases. Let not our anger and bitterness obstruct the path of wisdom. Let not our assumptions become the breeding ground of regrets. We are all human, frail and flawed, yet capable of extraordinary understanding and empathy.
