BB Unit

It was good to be back at the Resistance base, even better it was good to have his master back as well. After all that had happened on the Star Destroyer BB was more than elated to be safe with his master. They were heroes now which made the little astromech fill with pride. Everywhere he and his master went they’d receive compliments and admired greetings, perhaps it was too much for the little droid to handle, and it was getting to his programming. Little BB always had his own unique personality, most said the little droid could sometimes pass for a human and now...well now he was the same as an overly proud five year old. 

As he rolled around the base letting out little blips of hellos to his supposed adoring fans he remembered Poe had needed him for something. He needed to repair his x-wing, since the last mission they had come back from left the small ship slightly wrecked. He rolled at a great speed zig zagging and zooming through the Resistance base’s occupants. He let out tiny whistles that translated into “sorry” or “coming through!” so as not to harm anyone as he made his way to the main hangar where he knew he’d be able to find his master and their x-wing.

He was distracted for a short while as a mouse droid had taken his attention. On his way to the hanger he watched the tiny droid buzz past him, and instead of heading to do his job he was sidetracked and chased the tiny mouse droid for a bit before heading off back to the hangar. 

    The little droid watched as she took the flowers from him and blipped rather happily. It seemed she liked them a great deal. “You’re very welcome General.” the little astromech booped with a little nod of his head. She knew the subject of being a mother was a little on the touchy side for her, but mother’s day was mother’s day and she deserved a gift. After all she was like a mother figure to many on the resistance base including the little astromech.
