  “I’ve been at this role of being symbol of peace for 40 years before retirement so I’ve seen a lot in my time. You being an alien or trying to take things over isn’t new to me. Besides you seem to be doing well for yourself right now and you haven’t hurt anyone so I have no reasons to cause any harm to you.”     Feeling a small smile of his own come to his face, it was a little surprising that he was talking to an actual alien but with how crazy quirks can be it wasn’t like he hadn’t encountered weirder scenarios. Long as Zim wasn’t hurting anyone Toshinori didn’t see the need to be disturbing them with what they were doing.

          “as well as i can be i suppose,” he would give just about anything to be able to get a bigger house, with all of the projects he’s been working on for heroes, he’s beginning to run out of room to even live in the small base that he has. but with being an alien without things like a social security number, things get tricky.

  “I won’t lie to you either I was a bit of a laughing stock and not exactly wanted myself growing up. The quirk I had wasn’t the most obvious in the world so I grew up thinking I was quirkless which isn’t exactly the best thing in a world where everyone seems to have one. It took a lot of time and effort to make myself into the person I am now but I found a good family and friends at my own time. those that chose to see you as a laughing stock aren’t worth your time. You’ll find your own home and family with time.”   Talking about his past wasn’t something he often did as it was a bit of a sore spot for him but when he did he was able to relate on some level the struggle of not exactly fitting into what is seen as normal. 

     this was something zim didn’t see coming, relating to a human, but here he was and there was actually a soft smile on his face because of it. to be able to find a place where he belonged, it seemed too much of a fantasy in this world, but he was starting to become hopeful.

  “Understandable and nobody’s saying you have to do it if it is vital to your health, you can do it at your own time and comfort if you ever choose to let someone else handle it.” The retired hero understood that there were things that were essential to a person’s well being and they wouldn’t just let anyone else tinker around with it without knowing it would be in good hands.   “I am curious though what did bring you here to earth and why did you choose to stay here? If you don’t mind humoring an old man’s curiosity so to speak.”

     he was glad that the it was left at that, he wouldn’t have to go and see someone he didn’t know and have them tinker with things they knew nothing about, but when he was asked on his purpose of being here--that was an even sorer subject.

  “Yes regeneration quirks come in many variety and i’ve seen them in action before where it can regrow arms and legs with ease. As long as the person has something to regenerate from or has what is needed for them to do it then it would be little to no issue for them to simply regrow what was lost.” Granted the ones he saw recently were with nomus but the idea still applied to this current scenario.

  “If you desire help with making your legs stronger and more efficient then I know someone that can help you with that easily. My old friend David shield was the one that made all of my costumes in the past and is a top scientist in the research world. Even received nobel quirk prize for his work so if anyone could help you with that than I’m willing to put money on it that he could assist you.”

  “There are quirks out there that allow a person to regrow lost limbs so you would probably have better luck going to them or working on your pak legs as you called them to give you more height.” He understood the challenges that came to height even if he was on the taller end so he could feel this small ones pain.

          “quirks that could make limbs grow back..fascinating.” he would definitely look into this later. being from another planet himself, he was never blessed with the quirks that these humans were, and because of that he felt even more inferior than he already did.

          “if only you human’s could regrow limbs after giving them away like some of the other species on this planet.” but it would seem as though his want has been in vein. “i suppose i’m going to have to work on making my pak legs taller..”

“Humans?”

He’s staring at the short, green heteromorph in utter confusion. He tries to think of an explanation and comes up with none. Maybe it’s just this person’s way of speaking?

     he would have thought with his skin the way it was that many would question what he was, but knowing that on this world many humans were already different colored skin, even pink, so he should be grateful that nobody questioned him.
