new blog, go follow that one, this one is dead

Since I’ve noticed alot of new people have continued to follow this old/dead blog over the past few years, I came back to log in and there’s hundreds of notifications and followers. I can’t really use this blog anymore, ever since the nude-pocalypse, they removed all my ability to edit the blog because it was of course marked as explicit back then. (Actually as I’m typing this, I’m not even sure if I can still make posts from this blog at all, so idk if this will go through or not) Now that Tumblr allows nudity again, it feels like an odd and unfair position to be in with this old blog. There are still several old posts in my “flagged for review” section, which contain non-explicit nudity, or some are just sultry images without any actual nudity, (a residue of the faulty flagging system they used to begin with). But those posts still show an option to appeal. I wonder if I appeal those posts now, would they actually review it and allow it back? But then I really don’t feel like there’s even a point to try to rekindle this blog if I still can’t change basic things like the appearance - profile pic, banner, etc, all that stuff is blocked off from me being able to change it. I don’t get why they ever removed that functionality anyways, like why not just delete the whole thing at that point if you’re taking away my ability to use it properly. Or better yet, why not just remove the posts you don’t like and then let me keep the blog as normal. I don’t understand. All of this is even more convoluted when they are now allowing nudity back on Tumblr anyways. So what does that mean for blogs like mine, that were marked explicit and frozen for that reason. You let us keep our accounts and blogs this whole time, is it not possible to now redeem their functionality and restore flagged posts. Idk, but I digress.. For those reasons, I don’t think its worth it to really post here on this blog again. So if I do come back, I’ll just have to make a new blog page altogether. If I do, I’ll share the new blog here. It seems unfair to have to start from scratch, but here we are..
