like. if ethel cain had run poc off the internet and endlessly harassed them, that'd be one thing. but that isn't the case! she made racist remarks ten years ago, to no one, and- yes, those racist remarks should be critiqued. but considering this harrassment campaign seems to be more concerned with ethel cain being an EVIL HORRIBLE DOGFUCKING PEDOPHILE, i don't think this is actually about addressing racism! frankly i don't think this backlash is about anything other than using the struggle of racialized people as a smokescreen to justify rabid transmisogyny!
