I chose to do a "What if" Prompt:

Mark is a F.O.W.L. Agent (and a recluse), and Falcon is the CEO of TALON and a generous philanthropist who invests in Inventors or other companies that wish to improve the lives of others.

FOWL, after having a rather annoying meeting with the young genius, forces him to "endure" this "mission".

Being told if he wants the funds for his robotics he'll have to find a benefactor. Thus his plan being to trick Graves into funding his project.
