What I Used:

Clear Glue

2 Powerade Caps

2 Paper Towel Rolls

Paint/Ultra Fine Sharpie

Foam Board/X-Acto Knife

Masking Tape (enough to circle cap)

How I Made It:

The finished charger is right around 7 inches long, I cut each end of the first paper towel roll in strips all the way around so that I could fold and glue the excess beyond 7 inches into the inside of the roll to hold the caps in each end.

When those dried, the caps were still falling into the roll a bit so I wrapped masking tape around each cap until they stopped falling in. One or two times around were enough. 

I cut the two mouth pieces for the (-) end and the gray piece around the (+) end out of the second paper towel roll. 

The button and zig-zag pieces on top are made from foam board pieces glued together. The button base is one piece, the button itself is two pieces glued together and then glued to the base. The zig-zag is 3 pieces glued together. 

I painted each piece individually before gluing anything together...then actually glued it together. Hot glue would've been better probably but nobody got time for that.

Detailed everything and wrote Tyrannosaurus Rex on the back with the Sharpie.
