The soft side of submission is what most people explain badly. They make it sound weak. Or needy. Or like someone just wants to be controlled because they can’t handle themselves. Wrong. Sometimes submission is just the first quiet breath after holding everything together all day. It’s not always begging. Not always being used. Sometimes it’s being told to eat. To sleep. To stop overthinking. To put the phone down. To come closer. Sometimes it’s not losing yourself at all. It’s finally having somewhere safe to put the weight.
