I feel so devastated right now. I immediately break down the second I'm alone and feel dead when I'm around people. One of my best friends I've known 12+ years died just a couple of weeks ago and finding it out a couple of days ago fucking shattered me. I'm trying to open up but my mind just goes blank. I thought writing down my feelings and words I would do anything to say to him right now would help grieving process but its suffocating because I find myself not even finishing 2 sentences and I break down to the point I can't even read my own writing.

Everyone who knew Gin/Sam, I'm sorry...

June 8th you left this earth, and with it I feel a void in my heart. When my time comes, let's meet again like we did those many years ago. I know you battled with mental health as I do, we understood each other. We wholeheartedly understood each other and regardless of those moments we just needed to shut off and be alone, we would always reconnect like no time has passed. We had a special bond and I'm going to cherish it in my heart likely for the rest of my life.

You were the first person I felt entirely accepted me for who I was like i did towards you as you always yearned for from other people. The world is harsh... I hope you're in a better place surrounded with love. I promise I'll do everything in my power to visit where you're laying now and leave some of you're favourite flowers.

My heart hurts so much to knowing I can't convey my feelings to you. I can't deny I have so much regret to know I wasn't there in that time you needed someone. I wasn't there and there's a part of me that can't forgive myself. I know you wouldn't wish this on me. I just can't shake that feeling.

I'm glad we talked a lot late last year as we reconnected yet again... I just wish I held myself together after I went through my own trauma and fell apart.

I wish I didn't shut you and everyone out and built walls around myself to protect myself, I wish I could have mourned and confided in you as I know deep down you must have been in agony and hurting inside to that degree.

I'm so fucking sorry Sam. I love you so fucking much. I'm going to miss the hell out you to no end.
