I want to update Reshade but I know for a fact the Reshade pack that I'm currently using doesn't work with the update and I'm afraid to lose it ugh. I'm gonna bite the bullet and do it though because relight looks fun to play with and I'm assuming it doesn't work with older versions.

I tried something new this time and didn't just post the raw screenshot 😅 I made some minor edits to the lighting and shadows. I'll show the before and after under the cut, but if anyone has any advice or links to help me learn how to edit Sims screenshots better I'd really appreciate it!

TDLR: I burnt myself out and I’m putting a pause on my story.
I think I made my story too big for what I can reasonably achieve with my schedule and mental ability. I obsess over little things that in the big picture don’t matter, and that means I spend HOURS perfecting a background characters pose and other small things. I genuinely spent multiple days working on 15 poses for one scene (they’re not even done!) and it has made me lose interest in the story and the game as well. That being said I’m going to pause/cancel my story. I’ve been having more fun creating sims and decorating homes instead of spending my entire day in blender creating poses for ONE SCENE lol. I was afraid this would happen but it was worth a try. I’m glad this didn’t happen when it got juicy and people were invested at least.
-EDIT FROM 2018- Okay so have to go back in time and ask myself how I made this look so good and WHY I DIDN'T POST IT! This looks great.

I had no idea how time consuming making your own poses can really be 😭 I've dabbled in pose making (my next story post are poses entirely made by me!) but I'm running into difficulties making my own accessory objects. The accessory looks good in S4S but is backwards in CAS. Snags like this make my motivation ✨die✨ and I need this accessory for my story so story post will be a little slow. Doesn’t help that my schedule is so crazy due to my job 🥴
I figured it out! I got too far ahead of myself. While it was backwards in CAS it’s in the correct position in game. This is why we check our projects in live mode as well Katie 🤦♀️
