                                                      ❛    They  do  like  to  CRAWL  don't  they?  Such  vermin  having  the  nerve  to  waltz  onto  my  property.   ❜  Its  almost  as  though  they  WANTED  such  a  gruesome  end.  &  what  kind  of  HOST  would  the  head  of  Hellsing  be  if  she  didn't  at  least  give  them  such  a  welcome  &  send  off?  The  thin  line  of  smoke  that  left  the  end  of  the  dimly  lit  cigar  was  the  only  light  within  the  room;  both  figures  seeming  to  gather  JOY  from  the  rats  that  were  attempting  to  scurry  &  claw  their  way  inside.  Her  grin  matched  his  own.

He lowers his head, bowing to her and removing his hat as he takes a Knee in front of her. shifting his gaze upwards, hair hanging in to his left eye, glowing scarlet irises focusing upon the IRON MAIDEN OF HELLSING, SIR INTEGRA FAIRBROOK WINAGTES HELLSING. Lips curl Upwards as he addresses her. “And What is this treat My Master? Are there Enemies that believe themselves untouchable, Insects to crush Beneath myBOOT?” He stares at her, The Excitement in his tone apparent. “ Perhaps you wish me to GRIND their Pathetic BONES to DUST?!  Simply give me your ORDERS , MY MASTER!”

        he watched, watched & took note of the slight light that slipped through the cracks.     how even in the darkness, she continued to light a spark.     she who could be the key to his freedom or the chain around his ankle. did he dare tug upon it? did he dare attempt to shake his shackles?      no, he embraced them, held them close to his ribcage.     a tragedy of the      NO LIFE KING & THE IRON MAIDEN.     what sort of horrors could come from their past.      they had seen hell, he had held her hand through it all.      not once disgracing the name of her past lives.    HE DRANK UP THE HISTORY THERE, OF THE BLOOD STAINED STEPS THAT FOLLOWED BACK TO     HIM.     THE KILLER OF DRACULA.

        the twist of lips befell a sudden fall, downward.     such a curious creature before him.     the queen had not set an order yet, but he would respect her.     give her what she wished.    for he was hers & he only wished to make her feel the iron of his blade.      his head cants to the side, pondering on how to word the response before allowing himself to speak.      “ —— hellsing has chained this beast.     made it howl for them.     i dare say, i no longer howl for freedom in your leash.     because i am quite content with knowing the child i raised has such a power.    with words alone, you chain me. there is no other need or desire for me to free myself.     i am to be by your side. if death comes for you…    well, i would tear heaven or hell apart.     just to be beside the side of the owner of my wings. “

       such dedication, for she had given such a bored life he lived something more.     BEGONE THE THOUGHT OF THE PAST, HE NO LONGER PAINED.     no, the queen before him had brought upon him a delight of living.     for once, he enjoyed engulfing air & setting it free.     for he only lived for her, therefore, he would die for her.      “ the difference?     my master, the difference is that you do not need strength or human power to chain me.     with mere words alone, with mere orders, i cannot shake the chains around me.     i am yours, you are mine to me.    i do not take possessions, i do not claim people above me,    but you will always be the one i take pride in saying i molded you to be the power you are now. “      his eyes narrowed slightly, before closing.     such a rarity to be so open to the iron maiden.    it came to him why such a thing was rare.    because only she could cut him down, only she can make him soar.    & perhaps for once, he was uncertain on which one he wanted.

         “ … when you leave, i will no longer have my chains.     such a horrible thought.     to know you may be out of my reach.     for an old dog like myself will yearn to see you once again.     & i will know then that no matter what world you pass, my chains will always belong to you. “

                                                  ❛  You  always  did  have  quite  the  FLARE  for  the  dramatic.  ❜  Even  in  his  speech,  everything  needed  to  have  a  whimsical  touch  of  HORRIFIC  WONDER.  It  was  always  on  purpose;  Alucard  was  not  one  for  mistakes.  &  thus,  the  words  he  spat  were  meant  to  stir  within  Integra  whatever  emotion  she  wanted  to  be  stirred.  FLATTERY?  COMFORT?  WARMTH?  None  of  those--surely  not.  It  was  more  of  an  answer  to  the  question;  we  all  do  things  with  reasons.  Even  the  dog  licking  itself  does  that  for  a  reason--

                                                    ❛  I  gathered  what  you're  saying,  even  if  it  is  DOLLED  UP  more  than  it  needs  to  be.  ❜  Such  poetry  was  unnecessary;  a  waste  when  all  Integra  wanted  &  preferred  was  a  straight  answer.  Technically,  Alucard  OBEYED  &  gave  her  one,  but  not  without  decoration.  They  had  to  be  presented  in  a  way  he  saw  fit  for  her;  given  in  a  way  only  HE  could.  ANNOYED  &  GRATEFUL.  There  were  no  lies  between  them.  Why  taint  what  was  (  oddly  enough  )  perfect.  TEMPORARY  &  PERFECT.  ❛  Death  comes  for  all  of  us,  Alucard.  It  just  likes  to  DRAG  ITS  FEET  &  give   the  cruel  veil  of  immorality.  It  is  rather  UNFORTUNATE  that  your  chain  will  be  linked  to  a  post  in  the  ground  once  air  can  no  longer  sustain  this  body.  Who  in  the  world  will  put  WATER  in your  bowl  once  I'm  gone?  ❜

                                                    A  DEPRESSING  THOUGHT  to  know  that  one  day  they  will  not  be  side  by  side  anymore.  Unlike  him,  days  were  numbered  for  her--as  it  was  for  all  mortals.  Each  day  was  a g amble  &  each  night  her  guard  was  let  down.  How  does  one  combat  a  force  that  CAN'T  be  seen  nor  stopped?  You  don't.  You  accept  it.  She  has  &  he  will  have  to  as  well  lest  he  wished  to  go  mad  with  grief.
