Remus was having a bad day, and while Sirius might not know anything, he knew that. Sirius was just coming home from work, putting his keys in the bowl by the door and hanging his coat up next to Remus’, when he heard Remus curse loudly. 

Sirius walked into the living room, Remus looking down at himself and the spilled tea all over his jumper. His gaze lifted to see Sirius holding two bags of Chinese take out, a phone and a handbag. Sirius dropped everything immediately and grabbed a towel from the tiny little kitchen unit they shared, and began wiping some tea off of Remus. 

Remus snapped, “Get off, I can do it myself,” but went quiet with the look Sirius gave him. He apologised softly, taking off his jumper and kissing Sirius’s shoulder as he picked up the Chinese takeout bags.

Sirius sighed and raised one of his perfect fucking eyebrows. Remus knew he would fold. 

“You gonna tell me what's going on today?”
