“We’re all… human?” No, that didn’t sound right when she was using that against him. Yes, humans were curious, but who was to say he was with that tail of his. She, herself, wasn’t even that of a typical human; a chain would depict her much better than calling her an actual person. Break would be the only one to know this at some point, though. Thankfully nobody here was aware of that fact besides the Baskervilles.
Wagging her fingers, she puffed her cheeks out at him.
And then a pout. “You shouldn’t cheat, Mister Zidane! That’s not very nice~.” A few tears started to form as if she were completely heartbroken over this revelation. That was, until, she let the bright smile back on her face as a grin sprawled lazily over her lips.
The request for a kiss only made the grin grow more. Moving her hand up, she tapped her cheek a few times before leaning forward, using her hands to balance her so she could extend her right cheek at him. “Go right ahead!~ I can’t guarantee anything, though!”
Obviously he underestimated her skills in bantering back and forth with flirts.
Feeling the tail poke at her thigh, she was almost tempted to grab it, yet not pull, and touch it out of curiosity. But nope! She decided to just keep her grimy, little hands to herself while she was at it. No need to put someone on the bad side of things.
“Ah?~ And how can I go about winning your heart, hm?”
Flopping forward onto her stomach, she kicked her feet back and forth as she rested her chin in the palm of her hands, smiling innocently up at him.
Zidane didn't know if he agreed with that statement. Although he'd like to believe everyone human in his usual optimistic way.. they weren't. Literally! Giant robots walked around, after all.
He knew nothing of her being more like a Chain than a human, and the only evidence that would support that would be her unusual eyes. Zidane would bring it up eventually, but for now he kept up with the casual banter that caused his face to hurt from the never-ending smiling.
"H-hey, I was just kiddin'!" His form leaned in close when her eyes began to form tears, his canines sinking down on his own bottom lip. He wasn't used to making a girl cry! Zidane was almost about to reassuringly pat her on the shoulder until he realized she was just messing with him. "That wasn't very nice either, y'know!" A huff left his lips, but he felt somewhat relieved.
He didn't expect her to go along with the kissing, instead raising a brow curiously as if wondering if she was kidding or not. "If this is another joke, you're gonna regret it!" Then again, it was only a kiss on the cheek. Zidane smiled before leaning in, giving her a quick peck on the side of her face that she offered to him.
He pulled back afterward, lacing his own fingers together and placing them on his chest while listening to Lotti speak.
"Don't steal my words! And didn't you say that was cheating..~?"
