notes under the cut.
shigure works as a bard in the various bars and parlors of the town. he's been given an offer to become a student at the academy, but has declined to enroll.
he's rarely at the monastery, but generally knows what's going on from the chatter of his customers. he can be found at his job, sketching outdoors, or, occasionally, and if you approach quietly, humming by the pond at night.
at the moment, he does not own a pegasus, and unless one knows (or knows to look for the physical build), it's not obvious that he is a pegasus knight.
he's soft-spoken and polite, and tends to keep to himself. occasionally has a disney-princess-like air about him, though.
he goes through life with chronic depersonalization and survivor's guilt. if you would like me to tag any of that with trigger warnings, please let me know.
unprompted asks and interactions are always welcome! but also feel free to message me here or on Discord if you’d like to plot anything out.
on continuity:
he's from what is fundamentally a bad end revelations timeline, so he has seen through a complete playthrough of the route, including being at A-rank for all supports.
however, he is not automatically at A-rank with those same characters in TOA! unless otherwise discussed, TOA fates characters are not from shigure's original realm, since the near-total destruction of said realm is a fairly major plot point in heirs of fate.
for any fates kids from conquest or birthright that could have been in heirs of fate, whether they were, and whether they remember when shigure prompts them, I'll leave up to the other writer.
please do not assume that your muse knows he is from an alternate timeline. he will pretend, to the best of his ability, to be whatever version of shigure that the other muse knows. A-rank, C-rank, never recruited, opposite sides of the war—he will slot into that role. his act will be fairly good, as he canonically has near-complete knowledge of all three routes, but I'm very open to exploring the process of others finding out the truth.
he will never disclose the identity of his father, being aware that it changes across every realm. if anyone claims a shigure as their son, though, he will go along with that.
tl;dr — he's lying to you but he still cares for you. he tells himself it hardly even matters if it's a different version of someone he once knew. it's complicated and deeply tragic. we should write about it :)
