Ok ok ok so let's go back to the medieval era-

Joseph works as an entretainer(?) he's one of the jester's in the group he works alongside on the shows they host around! He's VERY popular amongst the crew not only for his dashing looks but also for bringing smiles specially to the lil ones.

They got so popular that they even showed up to this specific city cuz the king wanted them to host at his daughter's birthday

And so they go! They prepare everything and as the get the props and stuff, Joseph doesn't take notice but the princess has been keeping an eye on him since they introduced themselves to their majesty.

And to say the princess "fell-at-first-sight" can be an understatement. However....this princess....

Is a total spoil rotten bitch....whatever she wants her father will grant her (mind u the king's not even bad he just wants his bby girl to be happy after they lost the queen to illness)

And she, wants that jester BAD.

BUT- what she doesnt know is that our jester boy here, is already spoken for....u see here where sunshine enters! Sunny's actually Jo's fiance!!!! They live with the crew but they just help around rather than participate in the shows. They both love eachother very much and enjoy their quite chaotic but fun lifestyle!

WELP too bad thats not gonna last forever cuz after Joseph gently rejected the princess and her finding out that jo got a fiancé she did the petties thing ever to fuck up a perfect life

She got Joseph's whole crew sentenced to death for being accused of witchcraft. She probably paid heafty to someone to manipulate the situation and trap jo's s/o with dark magic artifacts...basically making it seem that sunny was a witch and the crew was working alongside them

They all got put in jail? Dungeon?(idk the name for that era) and had the worst time in both emotional and physical way but was way worse in Joseph cuz of the princess kept insisting on him and he ketp saying no cuz either way his love and friends were still gonna stay in the cell.

And yeah um...my guy....he had to like....be forced to see everyone he cared about be burned at the stake, while the princess just smiled at Joseph begging and crying to spare his beloved and his friends, to take him instead!

But alas once their screams silenced and their bones became ashes it was his turn...

U know that scene where in El jorobado de Notre Dame where emerald's about to be burned at the stake and Frollo makes her choose between being burned or staying with him? Yeah the princess does that as well

After a good "go fuck yourself" spit at the face style his skin begins to ash away

Yet instead of screaming to stop he screams for vengeance. His rage so strong it intrigues a far watcher with very preddy horns

and goes like "hey bro u wanna be a demon and get revenge on those assholes?" And Joseph at fist refuses but then he goes" I can bring ur babe back" and like-

And then he gets a hot demon form and destroys the whole castle with the princess in it. After his deed is done that's where the trick lands

He can gets his beloved back but he gotta wait for them to like reincarnate and its very unlikely it will be anytime soon 🥀 the big dude tells him he now gotta work for him (adoption in the most outta pocket situation)

After bit of conflict and talk (cuz the demon actually understands Joseph's pain cuz he too lost his dear :( )

So Joseph Jack gets enough power to bring his crew back after few years of gaining power but they also demons now and as the modern era comes they also modernize

But in a heavy rock style kinda way

Joseph being a jester in that era is so on point and now I will be looking through google’s images of jesters this is the curse I’m under but I’m at peace with that! Sucks bro gotta go through the fire and flames quite literally before getting a demonic glowup but it’s okay at least he has cool points—

and…a rock band…I’ve always liked that idea for a modern spin on him and his goodie gang…eheh

I LOVE IT SO MUUUUCH—I feel like a child again when I was watching Johnny Test (yes I am unfortunately a fan of that show) on Netflix and kept clicking the right button desperately trying to hope there was a secret next episode after I hit the last season AND ITS NOT THEREEEEE 😭😭😭😭 YOU CAN’T DO THIS TO MEEEE AAAAA

god she’s such a lovely but draining gal when it comes to the variants (but to be fair she’s still working through being ex-despair. We’ll get there when we get there) but I love using her for more points because she’s easy to draw….all my characters are 😭 GOLLY

Short answer: *shrugs* I just now have a real chance to figure this out man—because a lot of stuff prevented me to do so in the past and uh here’s a silly doodle explaining more

The much much longer answer…cause I love a good ramble…

…I dunno—so far it’s just been dudes that have the creepiest ways to try and get to know me, then they get bored—or I find out they aren’t not cool to hang around and drop em 😵‍💫 I’ve only really had one confession these years and had a genuine breakdown but in my defense when my friend introduced him to me it was under the guise of friendship which I was over the moon about—ZERO warning about any romantic interest. Would’ve LOVED to know I was being treated as a matchmaking case 🫩 unintentionally reopened some trauma that day.

There’s nothing that would stop me from leaning in any direction tbh—my parents just want me to be happy and know I’m a bit behind with certain things and don’t expect me to just know—as long as I’m not endangering myself

I have…I have confused quite a few people—it doesn’t help that I have an overwhelming amount of queer friends and then I go “I’ve only liked dudes as far as I’m aware.” 😭 doesn’t mean people haven’t been putting different labels on me since I was a child tho—which led me to just avoid figuring it out. To be picked apart so that everyone could know what I was wasn’t my vibe so I enjoyed the ambiguity of just not caring about that

I will say tho, there were a LOT of factors that caused me to be so blasé about that:

•parents told me not to date until I was 16….then I turned 16…and COVID happened 😀 double reset on my social skills

•never really had a chance to be around people my age (ex: skipped a grade and was a junior around seniors in high school and went into college at like 17…) plus only child stuff 🫩 bad combo. I’ve been around way more adults than people my age it SUCKS.

•😀 I had! Horrible anxiety which resulted in years of therapy!! So uh, I was very avoidant to conversations…because I feared screwing up

•FUNNY THING I GOT BULLIED BY BOYS, GIRLS, AND ALSO THOSE IN BETWEEN—HORRIBLE LUCK. ABYSMAL LUCK. I DON’T KNOW HOW I WOUND UP IN THESE CARTOONISH SITUATIONS BUT OUCH MAN OUUUUUCH 😭 (yes I do it’s cause I was very trusting as a child and tried to see the good in others…I still do…in a more cautious way)

Series of unfortunate events bro 😭 BECAUSE OF THAT, it may not seem like it but I’ve always been distant from everyone because I never really had a chance to grow up socially—and nobody likes a socially inept person—so uh…yeah…I can understand when someone just automatically assumes asexual but it’s more like

“I’m JUST now getting around to this guys hold on HOLD ON—LET ME GET OUT OF COLLEGE PLEASE I CAN’T FOCUS ON TWO THINGS AT ONCE!!!“

Unfortunately with this face I have it’s made things significantly harder but I love love LOVE all things romance since I was little 🥹 IT’S MY FAVORITE THING TO WRITE—But I am too much of a coward to say I’m a yumeshipper tho…maybe at like 25 I’ll figure it out cause right now I’ve been having to get help from my mom 😭 CAUSE PEOPLE DON’T MAKE SENSE—

Yes I’m referring to the guy who got my number from that Chick-fil-A receipt despite being like a few steps away from me. I will never not be confused by that man. Ever. My god. I almost assumed that’s just how people were when they liked someone.
