a sixteen year old with the temperament of a feral cat. he can and will take you in a fight if he thinks you're asking for it.

started attending japan's foremost delinquent high school in the hopes of taking the top spot and proving his strength. did not go the way he planned.

had a very hard life before coming to furin, in response to his odd appearance. was labeled a delinquent early in life and treated badly by everyone who saw him.

is learning how to accept help from others and actually have friends and people who care about him. has come a long with in the short time he's had them.

is a romance detector (derogatory). has an uncanny ability to pick up on romance around him but cannot stand it. how dare you be lovey dovey around him.

still aiming for the top spot in furin but for very different reasons. has found himself taken under the wing of the current top of the school.

         a deep breath was pulled into an open mouth as sakura stared into the mirror before him, lips turned down at the corners in a frown and the space between his eyes heavily creased. it was quiet, the only sound the delicate impact of water dripping from his hair back into the sink below. he’d scrubbed his face thoroughly, swiping away dirt and blood and revealing the purpling bruises left underneath. he’d—well, panicked wasn’t the word sakura would use, but bolting from the pit in the middle of the city he found himself in wasn’t much else, to be honest. and now he was here, in this empty bathroom, trying to figure out just what the fuck had happened to him.

     or, at least, he was sure he was alone. a noise had him whirling, water scattering from his bangs, his fists already pulled up to protect his face. sakura tensed, his body an anxious line, ready to fight whatever threat presented itself. except. well.

          his brows furrowed as sakura crouched in the middle of the aisle, mismatched eyes scrutinizing the selection before him almost suspiciously. his face stung, blood still dried underneath his nose and around his mouth from his fight with endo, and he looked a veritable nightmare. though nothing new for him, it was a startling sight for sure, and sakura hadn’t been oblivious to the furtive looks thrown his way as he’d prowled the streets before stopping at the corner pharmacy he now found himself in. gauze and bandages, antiseptic and pain relief covered the shelves in front of him, but sakura simply frowned at it all.

     he was no stranger to patching himself up, cleaning his cuts and soothing his bruises. but it wasn’t until that moment that sakura realized he wasn’t used to doing it by himself anymore. it made an ugly, twisting emotion settle in his stomach that he stubbornly decided to ignore. he had bigger problems, after all.
