Wicker Woman...

Accubation is the process of eating or drinking whilst lying down, both of which I am doing right this second as I write this post on handbags (I'm still having problems with the beginning of my posts, 'hi' just isn't doing it for me and this turned out to be plan B - Sorry.) I thought I'd write a bit about bags largely because the Summer clothing sales are beginning to annoy me, I've had my holiday and am ready to get my Autumn/Winter '13 wardrobe together. So, in an effort to calm the fashiony beast within I've been trawling the net in search for a cute bag to accompany me on my graduation... Without a dress this proved somewhat problematic, however, I think I've found one!

This handheld number may seem somewhat, 'picnic in the park' but I think it offers a fun and unique twist on the generic 'embellished, quilted, across the body' clone you see so often both in the day and in the evening on girls all over the show.

To tell you the truth I've been looking for a bag like this for a while, having seen a picture of the adorable Audrey Hepburn, photographed for Vanity Fair, complete with her own little wicker basket.

Not only is this bag unusual, but it's practical too (this is NEVER usually a factor I consider when purchasing clothes/accessories, take the CHANEL Hoola bag for instance, ridiculously unnecessary in the most fabulous of ways and I need it in my life). The interior boasts a cute floral print and is spacious enough to fit both my MAC essentials and broken down Blackberry. It's just been ordered from BeyondRetro.com so I'll let you know how it fares! xGx

Hi! Do you even say hi on a blog? As you can tell I'm new to this, VERY new to this. Yes, I've had a Tumblr for a while but I've never treated it as much more than a medium through which I can stalk Alexa Chung's fashion choices or find countless Miley Cyrus Gifs...UNTIL NOW! Now I plan on getting a bit more serious (ish) with this whole blogging thing. As a big fashion journalist wannabe and all round clothes worshiper, I feel that now is the time to become another speck of dust on the infamous, 'Blogshere' (I hate that word) by bombarding the internet with my limited clothing wisdom. I also love food, so please expect various in depth restaurant tales as well as numerous cat anecdotes (see adorable picture.) This is Vienna, my very old, very fat, one eyed feline, who has seen me through some of my more debatable fashion choices (I'm talking kitten heels and sweatshirts with thumb holes - pardon the cat pun and expect many more.) I'll wrap this up for now as I have a Nandos to eat (that pun wasn't even intentional!) and I do promise that my next post will be mildly more interesting and will have something to do with clothes! xGx

Holiday Clothes Come At Me!

Yes it's almost that time of year! Give a Britain a square inch of sun and we'll squash ourselves into it, donning our shades, lathered in oil and ready to tan. As I am myself a bit of an English Rose (I could end up resembling a flaky tomato on an overcast day) I'm a fan of the shade, however when I do brave the rays, I like to keep my cool in vintage florals and feet loving flats.

I've just bought these Clark's sandals and they are the comfiest shoes ever! As a hater of the sandal toe-post, I really would recommend these as an alternative.

I'm also really loving the new eye-brow embellishment craze sported on sunglasses on the catwalks at the moment and these Missguided ones are a cheap and fun take on the trend!
