Common misconception that 'daughter time' refers to time spent with one's daughter. It actually refers to a phenomenon akin to coyote time in which the daughter can temporarily escape consequences for her actions by being so so adorable cutes.

I made that up. 'Daughter time' is actually the time zone of Daughteria, homeland of all Daughters. The daughtaspora began using this time to coordinate Daughter communal events to promote a pan-Daughter identity, until the phase itself became a cultural signifier of Daughterhood.

I lied again. 'Daughter time' is a concept used to describe the relative time experienced by hyperactive daughters, as opposed to the normal progression of time experienced by everyone else.

I invented all of the above. 'Daughter time' is really when you spend time with your daughter because she is lovely and perfect and deserves more attention >:(
