By the time he'd made it outside, the two animals were rolling on the grass, teeth locked into each other's scruffs. However, upon catching sight of Bruce, the raccoon decided that discretion was the better part of valor and bolted for the woods. The fox growled after it, giving a final snort and turning to Bruce with a wagging tail

He knelt beside the vixen and gave her a good few strokes along the back and scritches behind the ear. "Good work. Wonder why it was skulking around here anyways?"

Bruce stood and looked around, finally finding the desecrated flower-bed. "Hm, that'll have to be fixed, but I'm sure Alfred will be more than pleased to give you a treat for defending his flowers. Good girl." he smiled to the vixen before giving one last pat on the head and going inside.

The Vixen that had been hanging around Wayne Manor for the better half of a year now was currently squaring off against a large boar raccoon. Bruce was in the gymnasium getting his daily routine out of the way when he was distracted by the growling near the window. Upon inspection he saw the pair circling each other outside, growling up a storm. "Well isn't this something? Better give our little guardian a hand." he chuckled, while taking up his towel before stepping outside.

If the raccoon didn't make a run for it upon his nearing, he'd give the towel a few good twirls and snap it like a whip near the animal.
