Recovery Time
Releasing his cheek, and taking a lot of will of control herself, if looking at the bright side, then it was a relief. At least he was conscious enough that he shouldnât be running around the city with such injuries âEven if it did not looked like that a few moments ago, and Nami genuinely believed he was up to something before the meat blackmail.Â
âWeâre the ones that decided to follow you, and weâll do that no matter what or how dangerous something becomes.â she replied surprisingly more calm, of course in her plan that included that the likes of Luffy, Sanji and Zoro, even Franky would deal with such situations while giving a moral support in the back. â
A sigh escaped her lips as well as a smile was formed, placing a hand over her forehead, âYouâre helpless.â she said followed by a small chuckle, before widening her eyes, âYou know, I think we both know someone that can help us with getting information or perhaps even more, bring him down before he gains control of this city like he did back in DressrossaâŚBoa Hancock.â
âWell, you say that now, but you didnât have a choice. Youâre my navigator whether you like it or not.â Not one to make the brightest or most considerate of decisions, if there was anything that Luffy could be relied on, once heâd set his mind to something there was no going back.Â
âSo whenâs the food coming.â was his immediate response, however as soon as heâd said it he realized that Nami had every intention of talking things out. Talk about boring, his slouch expressing his dissatisfaction. Making allies and the like was all well and good, but working against a number advantage was a field Luffy excelled in.
âAh, Hancock!â Eyes gleaning as he perked up at the mention of his good friendâs name. âWell, I donât think she likes Mingo very much but...â Despite his constant flippancy around the Empress, she had seemed kind of off. âSheâs been acting kinda weird lately. Like she was pretending she didnât know me or something. Must have hit her head or somethinâ.â
