Oh! No good criminals. Gortys can get behind that, she wouldn’t want her humans friends to have to keep looking over their shoulder in fear of some nasty deviant mugging. 

But, a thought dawns on the machine and her eyes reflect this newfound concern. 

“Hate it? That bunch of crackpots? Nah.” Hate was too strong a word to waste on the ashes of one of Hyperion’s competitors, reduced now to little more than dusty relics and bleached skeletons after their exploits to open Vaults went awry. It was a lesson in failure that he made sure not to repeat once he snapped up the ruins of the Atlas Corporation for himself, which meant that the inquisitive robot who approached him of her own volition was now a tool he can use to hasten the opening of the Vault of The Warrior.     “All they did was disappoint me. so much potential and ingenuity –  gone to waste!”

“ Oh. Well, I don’t want to be a waste. ” She rested her hands on either side of her waist plates, stubborn, in defiance of the total failure of her creators. If Atlas was that disappointing, it probably wouldn’t be good for her street cred to keep associating with the Atlas brand. New Gortys, new me!  

“ Sasha says you’re talking to yourself again. And that it’s kind-a weird. So I wanted to come over and give you someone to talk to instead! ” Spindly arms reach out to tug at Rhys’ pant leg, just in case she hadn’t gotten his attention.
