Conceived in an era when media interactivity was more physical than virtual, the Gortday Review granted all contributors a forum for freedom of expression without exception. The premise was basic but all inclusive: we published whatever was sent to us exactly as it was received. Submissions were photocopied and collated, bound together with a few staples, and distributed to contributors and subscribers worldwide. A wildly energetic group of creative souls worked together to assist in the production and distribution and, quite by accident, became a collective. The Gortday Review enjoyed years of uninterrupted monthly publication and then, suddenly, ceased to exist. Now, exactly 2 decades after the first 26-page issue was articulated, we prepare to re-launch the Gortday Review and hope you will contribute and participate.
