Gorillaz: méduse is, at its core, about family, forgiveness, and love. The main fanfic that goes along with it focuses on healing, acceptance, and familial love. It takes place during the Song Machine era and follows the band taking in 2D's stepsister, Eli. Eli is an 8-year-old refugee from France with autism and OCD who helps the band realize: if an 8-year-old can love despite her scars, maybe we can too.

This is a "Fix-it" AU (Not that there's much wrong with canon, I just really badly want to have more character-driven interactions. It is also an AU that focuses on trauma, healing, family, and mental health struggles. Oh, it's also 2Doc. For some reason, this is like...a huge deal to some people? I don't understand why, but in this AU, they get together during Song Machine after some much-needed therapy.
