2Doc soulmate AU, where you get your mark the first time you make eye contact with your soulmate, which unfortunately for them happens about half a second before Murdoc hits 2D with his car. Panicked at the implications of having just put his soulmate in a coma Murdoc doesn’t tell anyone. It’s a symbol not a name, so when the Pot’s notice the mark on their son, he shrugs and says he doesn’t know where it came from. When 2D finally wakes up he still doesn’t know what to do, he’s already in the lie and he doesn’t want to be tied down. He tells 2D that his eyes were open through a lot of the coma, so he probably just made unconscious eye contact with some nurse and that’s who it is. 2D searches for his mystery soulmate but of course never finds them.
Murdoc is conflicted as they work together. He doesn’t know how to break out of the lie now, but he can’t let 2D go. He continues to put it off until the Gorillaz get their first taste of success. This band means everything to him, he refuses to ruin it for anything, so he chooses his art over his soulmate. With the very first check he gets from the music he gets a massive rib tattoo covering the mark, vowing that he’s never going to tell 2D, but no matter how much he tries to deny it they're still soulmates, and they can both feel it.
did up a quick info sheet on this ho'. Under his bangs he has a scar from having a villager throw a rock at his head as a child-- also his demon father was strongly disappointed in his misshapen horns-- which isn't his fault, he's half human.

Gorillaz: méduse is, at its core, about family, forgiveness, and love. The main fanfic that goes along with it focuses on healing, acceptance, and familial love. It takes place during the Song Machine era and follows the band taking in 2D's stepsister, Eli. Eli is an 8-year-old refugee from France with autism and OCD who helps the band realize: if an 8-year-old can love despite her scars, maybe we can too.

This is a "Fix-it" AU (Not that there's much wrong with canon, I just really badly want to have more character-driven interactions. It is also an AU that focuses on trauma, healing, family, and mental health struggles. Oh, it's also 2Doc. For some reason, this is like...a huge deal to some people? I don't understand why, but in this AU, they get together during Song Machine after some much-needed therapy.

My own cannibal au! I see a lot of ppl make it to where ones the cannibal and ones the detective, but in mine Murdoc’s a butcher and Stu is his employee. Murdoc doesn’t actually sell any human meat; he uses the freezer to do all his work and hide bodies since its already made for easy cleanup/keeping things fresh. Stu is a new resident in the town, so he has no idea all the allegations towards Murdoc, he just thinks he’s misunderstood and actually learns that Murdoc is really sweet, and very protective of his reputation and store. Murdoc’s shop was close to going out of business before Stu came along in perfect timing, Murdoc’s being the only place he could find a job he had no other option. Now with Stu running the front business is back and Murdoc can focus on more important things...
