Content Warning: This is a Reddit post I shared on r/Christianity expressing my beliefs on faith. I believe it will be helpful to some but it's a tough topic for many so adding the warning.
Happy Sunday evening everyone!
These are challenging times, and I wanted to share a few of the truths that have helped me and that I hope help others feel a sense of safety.
I isolated myself from the faith for a long time out of fear and anxiety. It was the kindness shown to me by Christians that gave me the courage to reevaluate my beliefs and critically examine some of the things that had scared me away.
- Christianity is a huge religion with many denominations, different beliefs, and different Bible translations. The cruelty of one person or one church does not represent the entire faith.
- The Bible is a collection of many books, including ancient purity codes and civil laws. Any passage of Scripture needs to be understood within its historical context. Leviticus is commonly quoted because it contains a passage that some interpret as condemning same-sex relationships. However, it also reflects the legal and social framework of the ancient world. For example, Roman guardianship laws regulated women's autonomy and legal status. The Twelve Tables state: "Female heirs should remain under guardianship even when they have attained the age of majority, but exception is made for the Vestal Virgins." Those laws reflected the customs of their time, not eternal moral principles. In the same way, it is worth asking whether the standards being discussed in Leviticus can simply be applied to modern, loving same-sex marriages. Ancient legal systems passed away with the societies that created them. The laws of human societies are not automatically the eternal word of God. It makes me sad that this passage has been used in ways that have scared so many of our LGBTQIA+ siblings away from a faith that could have offered them emotional safety.
- Everyone receives forgiveness from God through Jesus. There is no book or scroll of exclusions.
- Forgiveness is not conditional. It is not something you have to earn, learn about first, or accept before it exists. It is not conditional on joining the faith or belonging to a church. If a church excludes you, that does not take away God's forgiveness. They do not have the power or the right to take that away from you.
- Every human being, without exception, is forgiven. This includes LGBTQIA+ people, people of different faiths, people with no faith, people who left the church, people who are angry at God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit, people who are poor, people who are disabled, people who are mentally ill, and people who are only surviving because of God's grace.
- We don't know the exact details of what heaven will be like. But for those of us who have been seriously harmed by someone else, I don't believe heaven would require us to relive that trauma or exist in fear. Whatever heaven is, I trust that it will be a place of complete safety.
- The only thing that can separate someone from forgiveness is a heart that intentionally and persistently rejects goodness itself. It is not something you can accidentally do, or do in a moment of anger. It is a settled state of the heart.

Fighting Laundry Machines Are the Future: Wash Your Clothes, Gain a Bodyguard
Why should a washing machine spend most of its life sitting idle when it could also serve as your personal bodyguard? Imagine a laundry machine equipped with powerful robotic legs, oversized boxing gloves, and advanced sensors that patrol your home whenever it's not tackling a load of towels. If an intruder or attacker threatens you, your trusty appliance springs into action, throws a few championship-worthy punches, then safely and securely locks the assailant inside its reinforced drum until the authorities arrive. Finally, an appliance that doesn't just wash away stains, it also takes out the trash.

Me, the only girl on a team of dudes: I PAID GOOD MONEY TO TRANS MY GENDER. WHERE IS MY WAGE GAP. WHY AM I MAKING MORE THAN THE MEN. THIS IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED.
Transphobia is when they won’t even underpay you correctly.

How I Was Transed
It all started in 9th grade when my high school launched this brand‑new theatre arts program that was supposed to run from day one of freshman year all the way until graduation. Summer classes, holiday classes, weekends — basically if you had free time, you didn’t anymore. Ms. Amy, our teacher, gave this whole speech about how we were making the right choice for our futures and by the end we’d be ready for top acting schools. Very inspirational, very “follow your dreams,” very “you will never see your family again.”
Then she lined us all up and told us our new names and pronouns. Just… handed them out like schedules. She also explained that we’d be taking either the red pill (testosterone) or the blue pill (estrogen), whichever one was the opposite of what we were assigned at birth, because apparently this was part of the curriculum now. Something about “range” and “method acting” and “the industry expects versatility.”
Dr. Alex, the school nurse practitioner, gave us these forms that only needed to be signed if our parents didn’t want us participating. And since getting kicked out of the program meant being stuck in regular P.E. with Coach Thompson, nobody even considered taking those forms home. So that was that. He took our blood once a week and handed out pills at the start of every class. Weekends included, because theatre never sleeps.
Before I knew it, I was learning all the social norms of being a girl, and honestly? I really liked it. I started using my new name and pronouns at home too, and my family was super supportive of my “acting career.” Somewhere in those four years I realized maybe I wasn’t acting anymore. Maybe this was just… me.
Ten years later I’m still a girl, all my documents changed, still seeing a doctor for hormones — shoutout to the public school system for accidentally transitioning me.
Anyways, how did you get transed?
This story is satire. It is a parody originally written and posted by me on Reddit in r/transgendercirclejerk. You can find the original post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/transgendercirclejerk/comments/1ugn0b0/how_i_was_transed/
Being a goose is much less interesting than it sounds!
You can't spill tea if you don't make it in the first place!
The dishwasher has Pro Wash, High Temp Wash, Heat Dry, and Sani Wash, whatever that means. But what is needed most is high-pressure water from every angle, like those bathtubs rich people have for when people leave late-night snacks in the sink 🪿🪿🪿
Did you know that Gooses share their name, gender identity, who they want to be with, and what activity they're going to do all in a single HONK? Listen closely to the details.

I was thinking about the languages I use English, Braille (very basic currently but I am learning) and realized I don't speak/read-write a widely recognized dialect/variant of English.
I have always lived on the East Coast of the United States so much of my communication was influenced by that out of necessity.
But I grew up with the Internet meaning that I read content and communicated with people around the world. I remember Skype calls with people speaking English (IN) and English (UK) and to this day am active on Discord voice calls in interest-based communities.
Furthermore being neurodivergent (autism) affects the ways I speak, read, and write.
I think a more accurate label for me would be Englsh (🌐🧩). I'm not sure if the globe represents global communication or the internet but it resonated with me.
Thanks for reading and happy pride month 🌈🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🧩🪿
"Geese" is a made‑up word invented by intellectuals to sound smarter.
It’s an offense to each individual Goose you are referencing, because it lumps them together instead of recognizing they are independent creatures each with their own agenda.
The correct word is Gooses — and I have proclaimed it as true.
