Hey there, in regards to the âbury your gaysâ post. Iâm like 99% sure that Matt Mercer is bisexual. And given his history with the LGBT does not seem like the type of person to let Mollyâs death happen just because theyâre queer. Idk if you watch Talks Machina, or even understand Talisen, but Mr. Literally Executive Goth is absolutely on board with death. And it fits Mollyâs character. Iâm not wanting an argument or to come off as aggressive, but if you look you can see that Matt is upset too.
Iâm pretty sure youâre right that Matt is bisexual but guess what? Our identities DO NOT shield us from doing something wrong. Iâm bisexual too and yet if I create something that kills a gay character Iâve engaged in BYG despite my identity. I know Mattâs track record with LGBTQ characters/ support for real people. Youâre not telling me anything I donât know.
Also I never said that Matt killed Molly becuase heâs queer. The definition I gave of BYG also doesnât say that a character has to be killed because they are queer. The simple act of killing a queer character falls under BYG.
I do watch Talks Machina. I did watch this past one and Iâve had nothing to say about Taliesin deciding to let Molly stay dead - besides pointing out that his decision to do so is not what is being discussed here. I understand why Molly not coming back makes sense. I agree with what Matt and Taliesin said on Talks Tuesday but that doesnât change the facts and the facts are Matt made a decision to kill Molly instead of doing something else to him and in previous episodes he avoided killing another character despite the characterâs decisions landing them in that position.
I know Mattâs upset. AgainâŚI donât think Matt is some horrible monster with no feelings that is out to get the community. Iâm just pointing out the facts. Like I love Matt and I donât think people should be shitting on him but voicing your issues with what heâs chosen to do does not have to be synonymous with shitting on him.

You can't really bury our gays in a majority queer cast...Like I know this is an issue but in this case: no. It was the fault of matt, a straight man, tal, a bi man and the dice (as molly knocked himself out by an unlucky roll). and at this point on the battle field 3/5 of the party members very openly queer and at least one was strongly hinted at and very likely will be confirmed as we are still in the beginning. Please dont destroy a useful term by using it so freely.
The cast of Person of Interest was 2/5 queer. Are you saying that if Reese had been bisexual, Rootâs death would have been fine? OITNBâs cast is at least half queer. I guess Pousseyâs death wasnât BYG either. 4/5 of TAZ Balanceâs romances were queer. That must mean Sloane and Hurleyâs deaths were totally fine too.
According to TVTropes:Â
The trope does, however, have substantially less impact in a Cast Full of Gay or a cast equal in LGBT characters and straight characters.
A trope that has less impact is still a trope.
Additionally, the number of other queer characters in the cast doesnât make much difference if the character who died was the only one with their specific identity. Unless you can point me to several other nonbinary main characters and several other bi main characters, you canât fall back on this argument. âThereâs still a cis lesbian tho!!â doesnât make a difference when the character who died was the only bi character and the only nonbinary character in the cast.

This has been bothering me for a while
So I wanna preface this by saying I love Critical Role and the cast and for the most part the fandom (lots of good art work and content etc etc) Iâm more than likely gonna be watching until it ends if it ever does.
That being said you know what bothers me? Whenever something less than stellar happens on the show and people are rightfully upset about and people point out that since the show is now televised they are beholden to certain stuff since they have a large audience the general reaction is:
â!!!!! NO! They arenât beholden to anything!! THis is THEIR GAME!! WE ARE JUST LUCKY TO WATCHâ
And like yeah itâs great that we get to watch I am glad that they decided to take it public burâŚ.they get paid to do this. Like in that respect they are just like any other show. At itâs bare  bones this is a consumer relationship at this point and people that produce stuff for consumers are beholden to them at certain points.
Now Iâm not saying that they have to do/listen to every single thing we could ever want and all that because thatâs not fun but some stuff since they decided to go live and make this a consumer relationship needs to be done/listened to.
And to those of you that are gonna behave just like I said up above, that hivemind that they have no obligation or responsibility to us as an audience or a responsibility to larger issues is really fucking wild.

Mollymauk Tealeaf, Critical Role and Bury Your Gays
Letâs talk real quick.
So last week (July 12, 2018) on Critical Role (Campaign 2 Episode 26) Mollymauk Tealeaf a bisexual gender fluid Tiefling Bloodhunter played by Taliesin Jaffe (who is also bisexual) was killed during an encounter.

iâve been crying laughing over this for the past 5 minutes
This honestly reminds me of a show on the history channel where they spent like 25 minutes wondering how the sides of all the pyramids seemed to be perfectly divisible by pi or something, and people where theorizing about aliens and some lost form of mathematics, but then at the end they interviewed a tiered looking paleontologist and he was just like âmaybe they just used a wheel to do all their measurements.â and the whole show just immediately collapsed.
Hmmm could it beâŚ. that they usedâŚ. math????

The Official âLog Offâ Protest F.A.Q!Â
The âLog Offâ protest is in response to the recent NSFW ban announced by Tumblr. The ban flags all content the filtering system detects as NSFW, reducing visibility to the community. The system has proven time and time again that is inefficient, oftentimes flagging SFW material as NSFW.Â
This SFW material includes art, memes and so on. This ban directly hurts the community and will not solve the actual problems at hand due to the poor flagging system. Because of this, the entire community will suffer. Â
So to respond, I propose that every user on Tumblr logs off of Tumblr for 24 hours on December 17th at 12 am EST.Â
Times are listed above depending on timezone!Â
This post responds to some very common questions about the protest. So make sure to read it over!Â

Hey y'all! For those whoâve been asking, this is the info about what this blog is doing on the 17th. I hope y'all will join me.
*people defending voltron voice* hmmm but should we really judge writers by their beliefs and actions??
okay wow so
klance was supposed to be endgame up until after s3
and long story short the only reason it wasnât was because lm and jds were like ah fuck that no
and thatâs why there were so many romantically coded klance scenes even tho they werent endgame. thatâs why they watched a fucking sunset together in season 8. the rest of the crew KNEW what the fuck was up.
and i dont wanna hear any fucking bullshit from klance haters about klancers âmaking this upâ because weâre âtoo pathetic to let go of klance.â you know why?
because the user over on twitter whoâs spilling all this tea is the same user who knew pre-season 7 that Adam was going to die and warned us all about it, and also the same user who was involved in the s8 leaks which turned out to be real.
this person has NEVER been wrong about behind the scenes shit theyve spilled about the show in the past. theyâve always been right
so basically klance was originally supposed to be endgame and then they changed gears after s3, but some of the artists and writers continued to create romantic coded klance scenes because they KNEW that was supposed to be where it was going originally.
no wonder tim hedrick wrote all the goddamn klance episodes then said âfuck this shit i quitâ and left after writing the fued. everything after s3 was such a confusing trainwreck because they couldnt decide where they wanted to take it. thats why we have allurance and klance romantic scenes both after s3. I woulda got my ass out of there too. i stan exactly one (1) vld writer and his name is tim.
so basically klancers we were correct all along klance is in fact canon king
