And even if Lucas was jealous of Charlie because of his ego, that doesn’t explain why he’s jealous of Evan (other than wanting to be with Riley instead of Evan)…Evan isn’t like Charlie.

He was CLEARLY JEALOUS OF JOSH! So I don’t get your point. Lucas has a HUGE jealously issue and got jealous with Josh. Maybe he felt a little safer bc Maya assured him he was fantasy. Charlie and Evan, aren’t. They had potential and maybe that freaked him out.

A. Lucas is a passionate and short tempered person, when he’s jealous, you can certainly tell
B. The camera even panned to Lucas’s face during the class room scene in ski lodge part 1 when Josh walked in and Maya started making a fool of herself in front of him, and Lucas looked indifferent and slightly amused, that’s not jealous, in fact Lucas couldn’t care less.
C. Also “he was CLEARLY JEALOUS OF JOSH” is an extreme stretch because all Lucas could muster was a slightly annoyed smile when he mentioned Josh, which could easily mean that he was annoyed that even more people were being added into this triangle, making it more confusing than before
D. Maya reassured Lucas AFTER the classroom scene, to which Lucas showed no reaction, and AFTER Lucas mentioned Josh, so again, Lucas was jealous neither times, and being honest, Maya was really only reassuring herself that Josh was off limits, even though she flat out told Lucas to his face that she thinks and fantasizes about Josh all the time.
