Ducks are laying like crazy, we can barely eat them fast enough. Many have been painted and given for easter.

He does that when he’s upset. He buries his face in a blanket or a pillow..

Breakfast containing lots of calcium

I'm premestrual and feel like I want to eat the weirdest unhealthiest stuff, I try to compromise with myself. Amarynth porridge and the first ripe kiwi of the season!

I'm in a bad mood. My sister and her boyfriend come to visit and I got up at 08.00 to put up two washes, bake a cake, cleaned the kitchen and fought with my husband about why the house is always so filthy (my fault apparently). So I decided to eat some cake I baked for them as my breakfast.

My sister sent me a picture of her Ottoleghi dinner. So I sent her a picture of mine too..Have I won?

I even managed to bake bread this morning! It has a nice crunchy crust, wich I rarely manage. As always I just tossed together in reasonable proportions: flour (spelt, lupin, potato) seeds (chia), pink salt and very little dried yeast. Looks and smells divine, packed up 4 slices for lunch. I'm so not missing my bread machine, I make better bread by hand!

I'm so proud I'm building a new duck house for the females we'll be getting soon! A friend came over to help and we had so much fun yelling at the screwdriver and cussing at the wrong measuremets :) The boys where waiting patiently and at times lurking around the building site mischiviously.

I'm having a candlelight dinner with myself: fresh brussel sprouts, a mini zucchini, quinoa pasta (leftovers), parsly and pesto!

Is it a dream? Or another planet?

Also, one huge red beet. We'll see if it's still edible.
