Shuffling, Leo lowered himself to the ground beside the other, stretching his legs out once he was comfortable. Thankfully, the grass wasn’t damp despite the shade from the tree, and he braced his hands in it with a sigh.

Travis watched him as he lowered to his seated position. He tended to watch every movement of someone he met for the first time, studying them as if they were some piece of art in a gallery or a stanza of poetry on a page that he needed to read over and over before moving on to the next. The ghost nodded his head, leaning back against the tree behind him. "At least until the daymares come"

"Just- you kept saying not to touch you, and smacking me with the stick, which is fine!" Hands going up as if to show that he wasn’t insulted, Leo’s eyes widened. He wasn’t prepared for this, talking to someone, dealing with someone who wasn’t Zeke, but it seemed impossible to not be concerned. Turning his head, there was no one behind them, no one ready to accuse him of hurting the younger boy, and his body relaxed a bit. "It was completely warranted, I woke you up and scared you, I’m not even upse-can I sit down? Is that alright, because uhm, I know that I don’t like it when people stand over me, and I’m going to guess you don’t either?"

"Sorry" he apologized again, he wondered if he'd ever hit anyone else before. No one else that had ever snapped him out of his daze had mentioned it before. When the older male asked about sitting, Travis nodded his head "Not really" he shook his head. People standing over him made him nervous and anxious.
