                  luke’s   pursuit   of   han   had   nearly   been   of   naught,   purpose   fueling   his   sprint   from   the   control   room   to   the   hangar.   slipping   around   corners   in   trackless   boots   all   to   reach   the   hulking   beast   of   the   falcon.   relieved   to   find   her   in   her   place,   han   was   not   so   difficult   to   find,   either.   “  will   you   be   back,   at   least?  ”    is   the   first   thing   he   calls,   perhaps   out   of   place   for   a   mere   rumor   delivered   by   leia   that   han   had   made   the   announcement   to   leave.   the   eye   contact   with   @gonegalactic   burned,   eating   him   up   from   the   pits   of   his   stomach.   the   two   of   them   were   too   practiced   in   this   battle,   which   had   grown   to   be   more   of   a   dance,   as   they   each   gracefully   dodged   what   used   to   be   a   fire   starter   between   them.   luke   figured   he   should   know   his   answer   at   this   point.   yes,   han   will   return   to   further   inhabit   luke’s   subconscious.   and   yet,   the   question   was   fresh,   felt   new.    “  were   you   going   to   leave   without   saying   bye?  ”   

You want someone who will see your favorite flower and will give it to you, without even thinking about it. You want someone who will remember all the little details about you, the things so seemingly unimportant but that matter more than you thought they did. You want someone who will still be there, thirty years down the line, holding your hand while the two of you do two separate things. You want the intimacy of being known by someone who makes you feel safe. You don't want expensive dinners or grand proposals. You want someone who will love you consistently.

Poe let out a low laugh, waving off the somewhat troubling edge to his previous statement. “It’s nothing, just meant that like I can be a lot and not always in a fun way.” He doesn’t like to bring up the ways his mood changes, swinging from ecstatic and personable to sullen and prone to anger. Never a danger, just that he carries the weight of the galaxy and he’s only a man. “But the sex will be great!” 

    ONE  OF  HIS  HANDS  FOUND  ITS  WAY  INTO  HAN’S  HAIR ,    the  other  still  keeping  it’s  hold  on  his  shirt .      the  silence  that  followed ,    however  brief ,    was  one  that  was  favorable  considering  how  it  came  about .      a  small  shiver  went  through  him  when  he  felt  Han’s  hands  on  his  hips ,    the  warmth  of  his  palms  seeping  through  his  tunic .      with  Han’s  help ,    Luke  didn’t  have  to  strain  so  much  and  relaxed  back  onto  his  feet .        ❝      so ,    you’re  saying  i  should  just  go  around  kissing  anyone  to  shut  them  up ?      ❞        Luke  teased .      a  bemused  grin  finding  its  way  onto  the  Jedi’s  golden  features  that  reached  bright  blue  eyes .

FINE, MAYBE IT WASN’T ENTIRELY THE TRUTH. Sure, it’s not like she was a bad person either but while she might have been a sweet person ( to almost anyone back on Alderaan ) some things did change. And, what just transpired was just proof of that.

She threw a glance at the man before crossing both arms against her chest. “ He should tough himself up, then. There is no need for weak men on such mission. ” It was either that, or he’d get killed. She wouldn’t be the cause of that.

        Chuckling,   Han   didn't   have   much   sympathy   for   the   guy.   He'd   been   the   one   on   the   receiving   end   of   Leia's   temper   more   than   one   time   and   knew   that   she   wasn't   one   to   hold   back   even   if   she   was   being   held   by   the   enemy.   If   she   wasn't   going   to   show   some   gratitude   to   people   showing   up   to   rescue   her,   Han   doubted   she'd   be   grateful   to   someone   who   volunteered   for   a   mission.

owen, prepared to abandon anything to take care of luke, would be like 'yeah, okay, alderaan has to need farmers, too. maybe gardeners.' while beru would say 'i'm not leaving my home, we're defending this place and luke'.
