honestly the reason i find t4t so much safer than t4c is because i know a trans man as my bf will always see me as a man and vice versa. we also might have a better understanding of physical/mental/emotional/sexual issues the other may have that a cis man might not understand as well and be able to help each other more deeply.

this is not of course saying cis guys can't care for or understand their trans bf's needs and/or wishes, however from my own personal experiences i personally feel more understood with a trans bf than a cis one
