The second to last post I rb’d from ya looks similar to the headwear from a character I like in a music video (Blutkreys Teufeley by Drudensang). Do you have a clue as to what this specific hood is called?
catholic zuid-beveland (zeeland) kaper for adult women; for girls it is poepinnemuts (girls hood).
generally, these terms are used for those hoods; kaper/kapper, muts, luifelmuts and hul.
the oorijzer was worn under those traditional hoods. it exists in many regional variants in the netherlands. (here seen from the back) it is a metal headband (usually gold or silver) and was originally meant to hold the cap or hood in place.
however, over time it became a status symbol; here the number of gold coils indicated the wealth of the family.
