I'm going to be ranting into the void but are my thoughts on the whole Two Time Thomas thing
Y'all are not as woke as you think you are and are actually hella transphobic
First off, who cares if a NB character has a more masculine/feminine name. I thought we all agreed that non binary people don't own anyone androgyny, but then y'all get mad when a enby isn't androgynous. Two Time is already present themself androgynous, they clearly do not look male or female, they are 5'3, thin and frail, but they had a masculine name therefore they ain't valid? Kindly fuck off with this mindset. Enbys do not need a gender neutral name and they don't not own you androgyny.
Two Time wasn't being deadname, Thomas was just their actual name, Two Time is a nickname given to them by their partner. I don't know how you people came to this bullshit assumption. Azure is also non binary himself so I don't think he would deadname them.
Also I think there this weird sexism with it, because Two Time was named Thomas we can't headcannon them as afab. Like no, you can still headcannon them as afab the name doesn't mean anything. I also don't like this weird ass obsession with NB genitalia, I'm not saying everyone who hc two Time as afab is like that (I hc them as afab too) I'm just saying some people tend to have this mindset that every enby must be afab and be a bottom and I really don't like that. Also amab enby are just as valid and deserve their representation too, it would not be a bad thing if they were amab. But like can we stop this obsession over what in people pants it a very weird and transphobic.
"But people will misgender them with he/him because they have a masculine name" people were already doing that, it sadly won't stop if they had a gender neutral name. We trans people shouldn't have to fit into society gender boxes to please bigots, they are never going to respect us. Putting trans people in those boxes as a queer person yourself is doing more harm than good.
And lastly, y'all are not entitled to someone's else characters. Headcannons are fine, like I'm not trying to bash people for that. But getting upset over something so stupid because it's doesn't align with your headcannon is so childish and entitled. Two Time is Toki's character, they should be allowed to name their character what ever they want without getting harassed. It's fine if you didn't like the name, JUST CALL THEM TWO TIME.
Honestly as a feminine trans man this whole situation has been quite upsetting to me and it's very clear that y'all don't respect trans people who don't fit in your perfect little boxes. And that just sad.
