THEEEM in my third or fourth attempt at drawing them. I think the chibi reaction sums up how I see their dynamic. (I'm still hunting for it) Midas HAS to hold back his affection while Jules doesn't have to coz she can't turn people into gold, so technically she can do as she pleases with him. Lol.

To any girl with a dad that kills you with a touch, the safest way to hug and kiss him is to lunge at him from behind and hold him down to kiss his head. Best if he doesn't fight you off. Jules approves.

I had a funny thought of a horror game where Midas gets eaten by the shark and he has to navigate through the dark claustrophobic stomach and finds a half-dead fish stalking him along the way telling him he's only going out one way (dying from digestion). I guess Jules likes keeping weird things like that. Idk. But thankfully the fish is stuck in a bowl... Then again, Midas is still unsure of its capability. He's pretty much a cat scared of his own food.

How it feels in game to carry a knocked out Jules to safety to revive while being hunted down by a squad. Look at his stupid legs trying to run with her, says the one who drew said stupid legs.

Polar bear hugs for some what humans... Lowkey this one's my favorite if my pen didn't screw up that mfking star. If it isn't obvious in my other works of them, I like to imagine Midas is at complete ease whereas Jules gets overly happy with him when they do these things.

Coz lets face it, they're a kid-friendly version of all fucked uppery. I mean, how can they both walk the same Earth knowing one killed the other from the thing he wished for? Why is she still chasing him and trying to find ways for him to control his curse? She even saved him from Hades with Marigold, really she'd leave him there or not show up for what he did AND kept doing if it really mattered to her. And Midas being a deadbeat is just him running away from what he did, thinking he's saving her from him. But really it's making her want to get even closer to him

There is no way they can recover to being normal again after all that. So (head cannonly speaking) everything they do together is going to overwhelm them and be creepy looking for others around. The way they're gonna be looking at each other is unintentional yet constant guilt and understanding behind their eyes. What else could you do with them?

Tbh it took me SOOOO long to figure them out, but I think we're finally cooking on charcoals with this one, y'all. This could be it. I also have a fanfic coming that definitely doesn't have a plot line and is literally just evolving around this guilt. It's... messy. But will probably be the first fic to make Midas/Jules tag on Ao3 (Hopefully not). When will it be up...? When I'm not busy and have time to ask mooties to check it out before posting coz I'm so unsure about it 😭

I fell in love with it immediately. The lid's background was provided by the site like the tarot photo card and these help my own works pop beautifully as ever. And the jelly... Omggg it's gonna help my attention span A LOT, I can't even sit in a convo without fiddling with something or I'll zone out. I love the squish of it. And has a slight sweet caramel scent. Now eating Snickers is gonna remind me of them.

First time petting it made me say "Ooo." At this point I realized I like feeling things, and this is so soft to the touch (lol) I wish I could get a bigger one and bury my face in it. My only complaint is that I wish it was more plump with filling. Other than that, everything plus the colors are great.

Baseless acrylic standee 🌟:

God... It's a simple thick acrylic but it's too cute. I literally thought "I want them kissing on top of my web cam..." And now they can. I can't get the edges to be thin enough so they're sitting on the surface. I gotta yume character sitting too so when that's done, they're going on the web cam too.
