As of lately though I’ve been at so much peace because I decided to read an actual book from Barnes and Noble. Like ladies it might be time to pack it up and start reading real books instead of fanfics. Apparently I’m not the only one who’s having a hard time finding actual fanfics instead of the oneshot smuts in which they’re calling fanfics nowadays. I saw some videos on TikTok of other people running into the same issue as me and everyone who agreed with that post I made.

Don’t get me wrong, I know, I know it sucks to not be able to read about your favorite characters and whatnot but unfortunately people are going to write what they wanna write: smut and there’s nothing we can do about it. I don’t think that it’s wrong that people write smut, however I do find it horribly annoying. Some people even felt shammed by my post about calling out the obvious suggestion that it could be a potential porn addiction.

So yeah, if you’re like me and you like reading long stories instead of oneshots then I’d suggest looking into buying real books made by professional authors because I don’t think anything is going to change on here. You might ask why don’t I just go on ao3, but I’m beginning to run into that very same problem over on there. So, I decided to pick up my own book in my closet and read it. It was the best read ever to be honest. No smut, just slow burn, romance, drama, and action. There’s definitely books out there with erotic scenes in them, but this book is not that sort of book.

So yeah we have reached a new era of strictly smut, unfortunately. The girls are not eating like how they used to, so now we must go elsewhere. Especially if the people writing these fanfics get all hot headed when you give an opinion on something they write. It leaves absolutely no room for conversation about this topic. Which is a very immature of some people, but hey me personally I’m not gonna fight anyone on here anymore. It’s too draining and low vibrational for my high spirited soul. So, maybe if I do feel up to it I will try to pump out my own fanfics when I have the time to do so. I’ll be starting fall classes this month so yeah I’ll see about that. 😔

Like specifically Jjk, they be so salty and mad when people be simping for Gojo, Geto, Toji, or Nanami. But they literally have been doing that exact same thing with female characters since forever. These are the same people who actually over sexualize characters too and don’t see that character for anything but their looks. Like you can’t scroll on twitter without seeing literal porn of female characters if you’re on the art side of twitter. Then don’t get me started on how a lot of these characters be literal children. I mean they don’t even try to age up the characters either, they literally draw them exactly how they look as a child or teenager. Not saying that if they did age them up it would be any better, just pointing out a simple fact.

That’s why I’m so happy jjk exists. We need more shows without all that unnecessary fan service of panty shots, or female characters being groped and it being written off as a joke. This is why I barely watch any anime but a select few. It’s probably why aot and jjk are my top favorites. We need more good fan service of male characters being hot by showing off how cool they are or how strong they are.

I know the reason why I simp for Gojo is because of his personality, it’s really attractive. I love the way he acts and I’m always geeked when he’s on screen. Same way with other characters like Geto. And ofc I like them because they’re hot, like that’s an obvious given. Same way with aot. I like eren because of his attitude. I’ve always liked him even before he was cold and yes I can say this because when I first started watching aot I was 12 or 13 years old the same age or younger than eren when he was a scout. Also yes I’m someone who understands the depth of these characters too, which a lot of men fail to do with female characters.

Like don’t get me wrong I’m not saying that it’s bad but it’s definitely a painful watch because of how drawn out it is. From the miscommunication and misunderstandings, I literally cannot with this show. I feel like I’d have to be really bored and lifeless to watch it without feeling like I wasted a chunk of my life. Now don’t get me wrong I think it’s a cute little slice of life anime but man is it boring.

Personally I feel like it could’ve been more interesting if it didn’t have all the miscommunication, misunderstandings and instead had more drama in it. Like idk, but yeah man. Then not to mention on Netflix the new episodes are one hour long, which really confused me but I’m assuming that’s because there’s only six episodes for the season. So yeah I guess if you’re into cutesy, slice of life and romance anime it’s right up your alley, but it’s surely not for me. I like fluff but not when it’s all that I’m getting. I’m more of an angst type of person so yah :P
