With my headcanon, Jean and Mikasa's teenage son was just as stubborn as Jean was when he was young. His turning point, the moment he finally started to mature, came when Mikasa completely lost her temper and slapped him. I don't think he got into a lot of trouble or anything too serious, but he had already argued with Jean, his younger sisters, and had gotten into conflicts with other people.
