The Necromancer's Mental Breakdown, by Palamedes Sextus, the best execution I could imagine of writing out the Necromancer's Marriage Season complete with copious footnotes and commentary from Camilla, this one is still ongoing and everyone should jump on board!

To Find Abstinence at the Dinner Table is such a perfect exploration of Harrow's relationship with food and with the characters around her in a really tender modern au, cannot recommend it enough

Psalms 107:1 is a fascinating au where Abigail ascended, her relationship with the Fourth especially here is so well-explored and god Isaac I love you

Cardiac Arrest from a Goodnight Kiss was quite literally for me, beautiful beautiful transfem!Sextus/Dulcinea/Pyrrha in a wonderful warm modern au

semi-charmed kinda life truly truly deserves every bit of love it gets, everything with Gideon and Harrow and Camilla etc is amazing but my personal favorite part is Palamedes and her friendship with Harrow here, it's written so delicately and beautifully

putting your fist through a thick sheet of glass (i know you don't want to) is so sweet and fun and good at hurting you when it wants to be

Intern the Sixth is such a great premise with such wonderful execution, the Sixth trying so hard to learn from the Ninth and encountering them at peak little shit-ness, ough young Gideon. Also sometimes includes samples of art and handwriting, brilliant brilliant creator.

In the other dream, an exploration of what Nona's dreams might have been like that also serves as a series of aus looking at Kiriona's deepest desires in a HtN Act V way, gorgeous writing and so bittersweet

GHAZAL WHERE I'M BEGGING YOU TO TOUCH ME, god, insane buildup of griddlehark longing and deeply sweet and lovely payoff

true love's kiss, or something equally nauseating, this author has a truly perfect Gideon voice and this is such a lovely look at griddlehark fairytale ending style

Opened my eyes: I Am the Soul That Never Dies When Flesh Is Weak was SUCH a compelling case for Harrow/Wake, just lovely use of River imagery/HtN vibes and highlighting the parallels in their characters. Not really in a ship way but clinically insane & the next virgin mary definitely convinced me that Ianthe and John potentially could have fucked and that it would be Bad. Also not in a ship ship way, Can't Take Loved Away is a great take on Onceler/Greedler style Gideon/Kiriona

Broke my heart: love is going to lead you by the hand, especially the amazing podfic version of it, is a very sweet canon compliant NtN fic and by its very nature destroyed me. Same with These Are Days, I got so tearful reading it, it's such a well realized look at early Nona and her family. fragile eyes is a devastating Lolita-inspired work surrounding John and Harrow, very well done. a pair of dull scissors in the yellow light, which I've described to a friend as tonally the most bittersweet ending for griddlehark I could tolerate, Gideon cutting Harrow's hair for her and a very well written hard conversation of between them, kind of in awe of how much this does with a few lines of dialogue

Spiciest: This isn't really a gradient but Am I... Preganthe? probably fits the bill and it's so deliciously written, one of my absolute favorite Tridentarii fics

Favorite au: not enough to ruin me was one of the first fics I read and it's really stuck with me, it's my favorite piece-of-media au - The Handmaiden, which is a great fit thematically and the author tweaks it to fit the story so well. The two-part Practice Resurrection series is my favorite Harrow Nova au, there are details that have lingered with me for years. train up a swordsman / to stab you in the back and even in the tremor are my all time favorite aus and longfics, both [SPOILERS FOR TRAIN UP A SWORDSMAN, I RECOMMEND GOING IN BLIND] look at aus where Gideon was raised by Blood of Eden and do such a great job at fleshing out what her relationships with herself and minor or original characters would have looked like, and her dynamic with Harrow in both is just [chef's kiss], also very interesting plot-wise with stomach-lurching moments of suspense, truly every time I think about them I want to reread them.

My own: My Hands on Your Body is a Minerva Sextus/Pyrrha Dve fic where they both get to talk about their pasts for a minute, god I want Minerva to feel loved in any body and Pyrrha to feel reconciled with hers

The fic you read most recently: It-girl! by paulacrackhead I just saw this come up on my dash because a new chapter dropped. I can't believe the author is still updating it after 4 years, but I"m so glad they are. Supermodel Harrow comes out as a lesbian in the 90s and gets put into a fake dating scheme with the only other out model: Gideon Nav.

Badlands by @ghostbitsforkicks got me into modern AUs as a whole and I am regularly quoting "My name is Harrowhark and you can beg for my cum" BECAUSE A LINE TO PUT IN THE OPENING SCENE.

Some Other Town, Someone Else's Life by @smogwife is the most galaxy brained take on The Locked Tomb I have ever read. Every line is so perfectly crafted and clever. There are references everywhere, there's a skeleton cuck chair and strap sucking hard enough to strip pigment and the tragedy of my own bipolar disorder reflected back at me, how fucking dare you, I love you.

S. lepidophylla by @jarofbeees BECAUSE OF COURSE. If you haven't kept up with Ino's insane arranged marriage fic then you're missing out. It's an instant classic, I am obsessed with the detail and backstory they give of Gideon's time in the cohort. There's angst and fluff and nerve remapping fuckery.

Sacrosanct by @griddlebutch because why would you not have your christ allegory character be a carpenter working through her angst and trauma with some repressed homoerotic frenemy dynamics. I know nothing about being catholic so getting to see Jo's breakdown on is incredibly refreshing.

Not Quite Shining by @senseoftheday gets the additional boost because of the sequel Freewheel and the will they/won't they dynamic over the course of the whole story. We get to see such great character development over this and in particular Freewheel does so much exploration of Gideon's character in reconciling her relationship with Wake.

Should Auld Acquantice Be Forgot by @snowleek has haunted me since the first time I saw it and I cannot explain how often I think about the line "I used to worry that God would find out how much I loved you" ARE YOU INSANE? The Lindsay Lohan Christmas Movie AU has me fucking feral. Obviously we love Thatorchia and I am praying for stability for Vic, but good fucking lord.

The fic that opened your eyes to a new ship: Legitimately the fic that opened my eyes to a ship was @swordrogue's contribution to the last Dead Dove collection, Romans 12:1 that has Jod forcemascing Harrow and uhhhhhh... Jesus fucking christ dude. I see the vision and it has made me terribly uncomfortable and sad. Chef's fucking kiss. I mean it when I say Dead Dove, this is the dead dove fic for me.

The fic that broke your heart: she has your eyes by LesbianJesusLovesYou is one of the shortest and most heart-wrenching fic I have ever read. You can't take loved away, but holy fuck you can make it hurt.

The spiciest fic you’ve read: I walk the line by goodmorningnona is fucking dramatic and fits so much kink into this bad boy! (slaps the roof of AO3). I'll read any Kiriona fic, but I especially love the sheer variety of ways they fuck each other. I MEAN THE CADDLEPROD FOR FUCK'S SAKE.

Your favorite au fic: An Orphan Generation of Elephants by hyperfixity is the defining T4T Griddlehark fic. It's got it all. It touches the trans part of me in ways I could only hope for and it gets regular re-reads (like most on this list), but good fucking lord. As a trans person I love some good trans rep in my fic and smut, but there's a special place in my heart for this intimacy and what feels like a very real trans experience. If I never see a sequel or update to this I will cherish it forever.

Your own fic!: Ahhhhhh, I mean if you're here then you either found me through Muppet Fucker Gideon Nav or If The Morning Never Comes. One is a terrible dream I woke up from and wrote 700 words of fisting by muppet proxy and the other is me purging my mormon childhood through soaking. I didn't mean for Mormon Soaker to get as sad as it did, but apparently people liked it and I am really, really happy with the community's reception.
