Is Golden Form meant to be her main Form card, or Sunken Form? If it’s Golden Form, why is it a fullart card, since you only get those from ancients?

And if it’s Sunken Form, maybe the effect shouldn’t be a one-time thing? Most forms take effect on the cards you play, except for Demon Form, which simply takes effect at the start of your turn. Perhaps, whenever you draw a curse, gain 1 strength and 1 dexterity, and keep the downside?

She has two Forms! Like Silent with Serpent Form and Wraith Form. Golden Form is an Ancient card. Her other Ancient card, Relentless Shot, is a Shot which doesn't consume Aim when played (and doesn't Exhaust).

Are there any other archetypes planned? Typically, a character should have 3. For example:

Ironclad: Exhaust, Block, and Bloodletting

Silent: Shiv, Poison, and Sly

Regent: Star, Sovereign Blade, and Transformation/Creation (and a minor archetype of Redraw)

Necrobinder: Osty, Doom, Ethereal/Soul

Defect: Status, Power, and Orb

And my own custom character, The Wyrmmaker (which you can find @enginecrankmailbox ): Fuse, Assembly, and Cleanse.

Perhaps flesh out Shots/Aim as an archetype?

Thanks for your question! Yes there are other archetypes that haven't been shown! The big ones are:

Burying: placing cards at the bottom of your draw pile, then drawing/playing from the bottom of your draw pile.

The big enablers to Burying are Trash and Treasure, both of which are generated by various cards. The Plunderer's starter relic, the Broken Spyglass, Buries 1 Treasure whenever the player's deck is shuffled.

Curses: cards that generate curses which last between combats, and cards that synergize with/mitigate those curses. These cards can be very strong, but the consequences can build up dramatically if you're not careful.

Aim+Shot: Aim is a resource she can build via various cards, which is essentially a special-use Vigor which can only be expended by Shot cards. Shots are generally (but not always) self-exhausting attacks, so the big challenge for the player here is sustainability.

And then, of course, a bunch of cards which are "glue" between a bunch of different archetypes, or just generally useful:

And many more! Overall there's 87 cards in her deck at the moment, plus a variety of custom statuses and curses. All of this is fully implemented in-game. We even have functional multiplayer for the most part!

This project has been a collaboration between myself, a game designer friend of mine (Violet Fairy), and an artist friend (Zephyr Nimkoff). Now that we've implemented a full deck, we're doing balancing, some card replacements, and making sure there are as many silly interactions as possible. (You know the Necrobinder card "Bury"? That triggers "Whenever you Bury" effects now. Because why not)
