Now THIS is the kind of mini comic you scroll past and then immediately scroll back up to look at again!
i love how the comic timing is clear just from color and pose changes. the tiny ‘chu~’ moment so in charactwr for BF and I love how it peaks through in Yourself then it spirals into that dramatic grab and scream. the messy scribbled sound effects layered over everything really shows how flustered she is and I LOVE how he laughs at her reaction.
the coloring choices are simple but super effective. flat colors with bold shadows then those bright pink backgrounds and yellow lines! I don’t remember why this style of art is called but I LOVE when I see someone playing with it.
This was wonderful, I genuinely hope to see more FNF stuff from you! (And maybe some LU if you are merciful 👀)
heyyy! I was wondering if u were ever gonna expand on the mafia Lu with reader that has a kid (I’m not the owner of the idea idk how to explain but I didn’t have the original idea) I would honestly love to hear more about it and possibly a fic maybe obviously u don’t have to but I would love to see one! Thanks bye :D
No no I see what you mean. I love the idea…juuuust wish someone else was writing the content cause I REALLT wanna read it 😭
Sadly this looks like a job for lil’ old me
Hmmm, I guess the best place (again) is the very meeting where they find out she has a kid.
Mostly cause headcanons don’t completely get me in a headspace. But writing this definitely makes me think of the next piece so hey, creative progress!
This starts after they learn Legend found her but juuust as he tells them she has a kid.
I’m a sucker for arguments that keep spiraling over and over until someone has enough!
Anywho

Legend drops the file on the table and the slap of paper on wood cuts Wild off mid rant.
“ well…before anyone gets excited.” Legend says with a rough sigh, rubbing the back of his neck like it aches. “there’s… something else.”
the shift in the room is immediate.
Time leans forward just a fraction. that’s all it takes for the pressure to change, like the air thickened.
“Legend…” he says. “say it.”
Legend exhales sharply. “She…has a child. a little one. about a year and a half.”
the silence lasts a beat too long.
then all hell breaks loose.
Time visibly tenses. Wind chokes on air. Sky’s chair scrapes back. Warriors goes cold. Twilight’s jaw clicks. Wind goes pale. Hyrule freezes mid breath.
Wild staggers back from the table. “you’re lying. no. no, she-she wouldn’t-she couldn’t-“
everyone talks at once.
“a child?!”
“with WHO-?!”
“you’re joking-tell me you’re JOKING-“
Legend mutters, “she did.” but nobody hears him over the chaos.
through the noise, Four tries, and fails, to be the voice of reason.
“Well…s-she’s…a..grown woman…” he stammers, eyes wide, voice breaking, “she can… she can be with another man…have a kid…i mean none of us were… were THERE so… it’s only… natural… that she found someone to lov-“
the word love dies in his throat.
the look on everyone’s faces makes him flinch.
Twilight is almost baring his teeth.
Sky looks like he’s swallowing glass.
Wild looks physically ill.
Hyrule’s expression has emptied out in that scary way he gets.
Wind’s breathing is sharp, fast, angry.
Warriors’ eye twitches like he’s holding back something violent.
Time is still as a statue, which is somehow worse than any reaction.
and under all of that is the same thought:
they were too late.
she moved on.
she gave someone else the future that should’ve been theirs.
the arguing spikes instantly.
Sky grips the edge of the table. “who the hell IS he?”
Wild snarls, “some nobody who doesn’t DESERVE her-“
Twilight growls “he’s dead. i don’t care who he is.”
Hyrule’s voice is soft but empty. “he won her trust… he got close to her…he touched her. i want to know how…I…”
“This is cause we didn’t look hard enough!”
Legend throws up his hands. “i’m TRYING to explain-“
but no one is listening, they start talking over each other, voices rising, overlapping.
“she wouldn’t just-just pick some random man-“
“maybe he forced-“
“HOW COULD YOU WISH SOMETHING LIKE THAT UPON HER?!?”
“I wouldn’t!!! I would never-!!!”
“if he hurt her-“
“Where IS he?!?”
“if he’s STILL around—”
“we’ll make it look like an accident—”
“no, cleaner than that—”
“don’t be stupid-if he’s alive at all then he’s a THREAT-“
“she trusted him enough to have a CHILD with him-“
“STOP saying it like that!”
the room spirals fast.
they’re snapping at each other, clutching their hair, slamming their hands on the table, each one drowning in jealousy, guilt, rage, regret.
Sky whispers like he’s in denial “did she smile for him…?”
Wild slams his fist into the wall. “STOP! STOP SAYING THAT-!”
Hyrule mutters, “she gave him everything we would have cherished-“
Wind’s voice cracks. “I bet he wasn’t even THERE for her-!”
Twilight snarls, “we have to fix this. I don’t care HOW.”
Warriors finally cuts through the chaos by barking:
“Legend. name. now.”
Legend exhales through his nose. “i…don’t have Al
“Find it!” Warriors snaps, stepping toward him. too fast. too sharp. “you’ve had DAYS-“
Legend wheels on him, temper detonating. “you think i HAVEN’T been looking?! you want his face? his address? his blood type? i don’t have it YET, because he’s a damn GHOST! I JUST managed to get this info at the earliest possible moment and show it to all of you, I JUST fucking found all this out as well! The only things I know more is that he dipped the second she told him she was pregnant and that-!!”
“THEN DIG DEEPER THAN THAT!!!” Warriors growls “or i’ll dig HIM out myself-“
“oh shut UP!” Legend throws back. “you’re not the only one who wants him dead! WE’RE LUCKY SHE DIDNT HAVE THE BABY DUE TO WORSE CIRCUMSTANCES!!”
that one sentence hits all of them like a blade.
Sky flinches like the thought physically hurts him.
Twilight grips the table hard enough his knuckles go white.
Warriors’ expression fractures around the edges, the kind of hurt a perfect mask can’t hide.
Wind folds forward a little, hands over his mouth.
Four stares at the wood grain like it’s the only thing keeping him upright.
Hyrule… laughs.
it’s small. breathy. not amused. more like he’s choking on too many emotions at once.
Wild snaps instantly. “what the hell is funny about ANY of this?”
Hyrule’s eyes flick up, and it’s the first time all night he actually looks dangerous.
“i’m not laughing because it’s funny.” he says, voice tightening. “i’m laughing because you’re all forgetting who she is.”
Warriors’ jaw twitches. “no one is forgetting-“
“you are.” Hyrule says sharply, glare cuttin acros the table. “yes, i hate what happened. i hate him. i hate that she carried everything alone. but don’t talk about her like she broke.”
he leans forward, tone dropping to something harsh with emotion he’s barely keeping down.
“(y/n) is stronger than any of you are giving her credit for. if she ever saw that bastard again? she’d probably swing first.”
Wind lifts his head, eyes wet but fiery. “yeah. she would.”
Hyrule looks at him, surprised he’s agreeing.
Wind wipes his eyes on his sleeve. “my grandma raised me and Aryll by herself, never let us feel alone. and (y/n)’s like that too, i can tell. she didn’t fall apart. she’s raising her baby and still going; I mean she’s taking classes!”
he sniffs, brave even while shaking. “that means she’s tough. tougher than that jerk ever deserved.”
Warriors frowns. “that’s…not the point.”
Twilight’s voice hardens. “she shouldn’t HAVE to deal with him. WE should.”
Sky shakes his head, hurt still bleeding through. “Hyrule, Wind. she was pregnant and alone. there’s nothing funny about that, we have to-“
and then Wind slams both palms onto the table, getting everyone’s focus.
“no. NO. i’m not doing this again!”
Time narrows his eyes. “Wind-“
“don’t ‘wind’ me, old man!” He snaps at him. “They’re all doing it again and you know it!”
Legend frowns. “doing what?”
Wind looks around the table, furious and heartbroken at the same time.
“acting like she needs to be wrapped in cotton!” he spits. “acting like if we don’t control every detail of her life she’ll disappear again.”
his voice breaks but he pushes through it.
“YOU selectively forget this crap but I HAVENT. we LOST her because we all kept secrets. because we tried to ‘protect’ her by keeping her out of things. because no one trusted her to stay even when she wandered away!!!”
Sky flinches.
Twilight’s mouth goes tight.
Warriors looks like someone slapped him.
Time’s jaw ticks once.
they all know he’s not wrong.
Wind keeps going.
“and now you’re doing it again! she is RAISING her kid. she’s doing the work. she’s fighting every damn day to keep them safe and fed and alive and you’re sitting here acting like she’s gonna crumble if we look at her wrong!”
Wild opens his mouth, Wind cuts him off.
“don’t start with that ‘we just wanna help’ crap either. i KNOW you do. i do too. but none of us get to decide she’s helpless just because it makes us feel better about failing her the first time!”
Wild glares but stays silent.
Wind jabs a finger at him. “Hyrule’s right. she’s strong. she’s tougher than anyone in this room wants to admit!”
“I agree.” Time stands, voice steady. “And it is because of her strength that we don’t approach her just yet.”
and instantly the room explodes again.
Wild explodes first. “why the hell NOT?! she’s right there-right in this city-she needs support-“
“support?” Four snaps, rounding on him. “do you mean you want to bolt to her doorstep and scare the life out of her?”
Wild bristles. “i wouldn’t scare her-“
“you don’t know that!” Four fires back. “none of us know that!!”
Twilight growls “she deserves to know she’s not alone!”
“That doesn’t mean we have to storm up to her!”
“But if we wait too long we could lose her again!”
Sky nods sharply at that. “we lost her once because we waited too long. we don’t make that mistake again.”
Warriors slams his palm on the table. “Time, she is RAISING a child alone. and we’re supposed to sit here? doing nothing? the universe gives her back to us and we’re not even allowed to be there for her?”
Hyrule, softer but tense “maybe…we don’t have to talk to her…just yet..just…check on her. walk near her street. something.”
Wild glares at Time too. “she’s out there doing everything alone. she doesn’t even know she has us anymore! I mean she’s didn’t recognize Legend when HE was in front of her!”
Legend grimaced. “Yes…that is…true.”
the room spirals faster, voices overlapping, arguments snapping off each other
“if we don’t act now she might disappear again-“
“we can’t let her suffer by herself-“
“she’d WANT to know we’re here-“
“we owe her more than silence-“
legend jumps in fast, “no, hyrule’s right,’and i hate that he’s right. i want to go to her SO BADLY taht it hurts, but showing up now is a disaster waiting to happen. it makes sense. i hate it. but it makes sense!”
Wild jabs at him. “you’re REALLY taking their side?!”
Legend snaps back “what do you want me to do, lie?! pretend we won’t terrify her by showing up unannounced?!”
four suddenly raises his voice. “we shouldn’t ALL go to her, but letting her stay out there with no clue we’re alive? no clue she’s loved? that’s worse!”
Warriors scoffs bitterly. “so what, blacksmith? you want to walk up to her building tonight with flowers and an apology note?”
Four’s face flushes with frustration. “i just want to SEE her. make sure she’s okay.”
Twilight bites, voice rough. “she’s RAISING A BABY. she’s not fine.”
Hyrule mutters, “she’s surviving anyway-stronger than any of us seems to be giving her credit for-“
warriors cuts him again. “That’s not IT!! surviving isn’t the same as safe.”
sky steps in, voice breaking. “she needs HELP—real, physical, emotional—how are we supposed to watch her struggle, alone, and you want us to do NOTHING?”
the argument is already messy when Legend suddenly whistles sharply at the group.
“HEY-before any of you rewrite her entire life in your heads-she’s NOT alone.”
everyone looks at him.
Legend runs a hand through his hair, frustrated. “she has a loving mom. a real dad. a younger sister. people who give a damn and no doubt help her when she needs it. she isn’t some abandoned stray waiting for us to rescue her!”
Sky frowns. “then why is she living alone? in a tiny apartment?”
Legend shrugs angrily. “because she’s INDEPENDENT? because she’s trying to make her own life work? NOT because nobody cares about her.”
Twilight opens his mouth, Wind stands up and points at him like a weapon.
“don’t you DARE twist that into ‘she needs ONLY us.’!!”
Twilight face reddens. “i didnt-“
“you WERE.” Legend says sharply. “and you know it. some of you are already sliding into that ‘we should’ve taken her in and never let her go’ crap again.”
Warriors bristles. “that’s not what we said.”
Wind slams his palm flat on the table again. “but it’s what you all MEANT.”
Wind’s voice cracks with anger. “you guys say you love her, but half of you keep talking like the goal is to CUT HER OFF from everyone else so she falls into our arms because theres no one else left.”
Twilight’s eyes flash. “that’s not our intent-“
“YES it is!” Wind fires. “you don’t even hear yourselves. ‘she needs support.’ ‘she needs us.’ ‘we should’ve been there.’ all true! but soon you start slipping into that possessive shit where she ONLY needs us.”
Hyrule nods tightly beside him. “isolating her was the mistake last time. we lost her because her world was small and we let that happen. we’re not doing that again.”
Warriors crosses his arms. “we arent isolating her. we’re trying to help.”
Legend barks a humorless laugh. “no captain, you’re trying to insert yourselves before she even knows who you are.”
then quieter “and if you shove too hard, she’ll run. she’s NOT stupid.”
He grimaces because that hits too close to the truth.
the argument spirals again.
Wild shoves his chair back so hard it nearly tips. “i dont CARE if she has a family, they didn’t stop this from happening to her!”
“watch your mouth!” Legend snaps immediately. “her family loves her. they’re not the problem.”
Wild swings toward him, eyes blazing. “if they LOVED her so much, where were they when she needed help?!”
Legend stands halfway, fists curling. “don’t you DARE blame them for whatever that bastard did-“
“everyone shut up! the POINT is, she shouldn’t be living alone with a baby while WE’RE here.” Warriors states.
“she wouldn’t be alone.” Twilight says.”’if we were allowed to go to her.”
Hyrule scoffs, sharp. “allowed? Twilight, the SECOND you walk near her she’ll sense you breathing down her neck like a storm.”
Twilight turns on him so fast that Warriors actually moves between them. “say that again.”
Hyrule doesn’t back down. “you’ll SCARE her.”
“better scared than unprotected!” Twilight snarls.
“and then what?” Hyrule fires back. “she runs? she calls the cops? she moves away? GREAT job protecting her.”
Legend throws his head back with a frustrated groan. “god, listen to yourselves! you’re already slipping back into the SAME pattern. ‘pull her close so she can’t disappear again’? THAT almost destroyed her!”
Four cuts in sharply, voice louder than usual. “i’m not isolating her! i just want to SEE her. make sure she’s breathing. that she’s safe. is that too much to ask?!”
“yes if she doesn’t know who we are!” Legend says, near shouting again.
Wind, being the closest suddenly grabs Four by the front of his shirt.
“you go to her now.” he growls.” and you ruin EVERYTHING. she’ll slam the door in your face out of fear.”
Four shoves him back, eyes wild. “at least i’ll KNOW she’s okay!”
“this is EXACTLY the problem! you wanna lock her down again!”
Wild whips toward him, feral. “AND YOU DONT?!”
“OF COURSE I DO!” Wind shouts back. “but I’m not stupid enough to lose her AGAIN because you want to shove yourselves into her life like she’s PROPERTY!”
the temperature drops.
Wild steps closer to Wind. “say that again.”
Wind doesn’t flinch. “i said what i said. you want her where YOU can see her, not where she’s happiest!”
Sky narrows his eyes. “and you think keeping our distance is better?”
Wind jabs a finger at him. “i think scaring her is worse.”
Hyrule’s voice goes soft, soft enough to be dangerous.
“say she opens her door tonight and sees all of us outside. what happens? she freezes. panics. slams the door. moves. we lose her forever.”
Wild snarls “i wouldn’t let her run.”
Legend nearly punches him. “THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN!”
“we’re not isolating her-“
“you ARE-“
“she has a family,’respect that-“
“we ARE her family-“
“NOT TO HER-we’re strangers-“
“we won’t stay strangers-“
“THAT’S NOT REMOTELY THE POINT-“
voices pile on top of each other until-
“ENOUGH!”
Time’s roar cracks the table of noise.
this time it IS loud.
Everyone flinches and swerves theit head to face him.
both his eyes open.
the right one gleaming white, the pressure of the gaze signifying that the fierce deity watching through him.
his voice is low, furious.
“you are seconds away from tearing each other apart over a woman who doesn’t even know we exist in this world. sit. down.”
nobody moves.
not until he speaks again, deeper, overlapping with another’s voice within.
“SIT.”
they slowly obey.
Time’s breath shakes once before he steadies it, the room silent for several minutes as he eventually leans back in his chair and reaches into his suit jacket, pulling a small case which revealed thin cigars within.
He pulls out a cutter form the case and slices the top before placing it in his mouth.
a small burst of flames erupts at the exposed tip, Time is unphased, a small nod towards Hyrule for the light as he slowly inhales and holds the breath in for a moment.
“you want her close? so do i,” he says, exhaling the smoke at the same time. “i want to go to her door right now. i want her to look at me and REMEMBER, but that is NOT reality.”
he looks at Warriors, at Twilight, at Wild, at Sky the ones shaking with the urge to run to her.
“you think there’s nothing wrong with dragging her into our arms because YOU know what she means to us,” Time says, pointing at them with his cigar. “but SHE doesn’t know us. she is raising a child. she is trying to survive.”
then he looks at Four, Legend, Wind, Hyrule and points at them.
“and you think distance alone protects her. it doesn’t. hesitation is what lost her last time.”
none of them can argue.
Time draws in another inhale.
“i lead this group because i can stop you when your love for her becomes dangerous..” he says calmly, looking at the cigar in his hand.“and you all can stop me if mine ever does.”
Another her inhale.
“you will NOT argue like this.” he says, voice still calm yet hard as steel. “not about her. not about our intentions. not about what we owe her.”
the room is dead silent.
Time’s gaze sweeps across them.
“Legend is right.” he says. “she has a family. a good one even if she doesn’t currently live with them. we do NOT replace them. we do NOT interfere with them. our role is to protect her, not claim ownership over her life.”
Warriors flinches.
Twilight looks away.
Sky bows his head.
Four’s throat works like he’s swallowing a stone.
Wild grips the table edge so hard it shakes.
Wind watches Time with wide, shaky relief.
Legend just looks up at the ceiling and mouths “Finally some sense.”
Time continues.
“we are NOT isolating her.” he says. “we are ensuring her stability remains intact until we can enter her life in a way that does not harm her.”
Legend mutters. “hate how reasonable that is.”
Time moves on.
“we DO approach her eventually,” he says. “but not as a gang of strange men appearing out of the shadows. it must be natural. believable. safe.”
Four clears his throat, cautious. “then…how do we start? we can’t just collide into her by force.”
Sky nods. “we need a path that doesn’t feel manufactured.”
Warriors rubs his chin. “we could… support the building she lives in? improvements, safety checks, perhaps a neighborhood watch? she might notice things getting better around her.”
“Her apartment IS in the more rundown side of town.” Legend mutters going through his file again.
Time considers this. “possible, but too distant, won’t build familiarity.”
Hyrule lifts a finger. “she often visits the park near her apartment. we could…clean routes, increase lighting, remove threats. she’ll feel safer without knowing why.”
Time nods once. “useful. but not enough for contact.”
Wind pipes up, quieter now. “maybe a job lead? something that comes across her naturally. not from us.”
Legend sighs. “except she’d ask who recommended her. if we slip up, she’ll think its creepy. She has classes too, don’t forget.”
Wild taps the table restlessly. “we could just bump into her. casually.”
Sky gives him a look. “casually? wild, you breathe like a threat when you’re excited.”
Wild groans. “i can be subtle-“
“no, you can’t,” Four says immediately.
Twilight offers something softer. “her little one. kids need safe places, safe people, the more we protect her routes, her stores, her routines, the more chances for natural overlap later, right?”
Time considers all of them as he smokes his cigar, weighing every idea with the precision of a man who built an powerful crime network on patience.
finally…
“these are starts. none are ready.”
groans all around.
Time continues.
“we refine them. we choose approaches that allow her to SEE us before she must KNOW us. we allow her to build familiarity without pressure.”
Hyrule nods. “gradual proximity.”
Legend sighs dramatically.
Wild mutters “as long as i get to see her soon.”
Time fixes him with a look.
“if you rush this, you will lose her again.”
Wild bites his tongue.
Time straightens, tone calm but firm.
“we do this right, or not at all. we protect her life,’we do not disrupt it. we will come to her slowly.”
he pauses.
“and when the time is right…she will choose us.”
He smiles softly, a brief image of her smile flashing through his mind.
“And she will happily accept our feelings without any reason to reject us.”
What do you think of a reader that can control malice (basically a mini ganon) with the chain? Ngl i just want to see their reactions and thoughts and all that.
Hope you're doing well btw
Oooh, this is real interesting~ real interesting indeed.
I bet Wind thinks its awesome at first. kiddo does not know fear. he’s like “woah can u shoot it? can u make shapes?? can you-‘ until one of the older boys yanks him back like “stop encouraging her what the hell.” later though,I think wind notices the physical toll it takes on her and gets way more protective than people expect.
Hyrule kinda has a minor reaction to the malice, but that’s cause his fae side doesn’t like it. I mean he’s nervous but curious. he feels when her energy changes and can sense when it surges and whatnot ya know? . he trusts her heart immediately though which is the funny part, hes scared of the energy but not of her.
Four is analytical as hell. he studies the malice like it’s a magical puzzle. the colors have mixed reactions. Blue wants to fight it. Red is scared but fascinated. Vio sees the power balance and is curious on how she can handle it so well. Green just wants her safe. when they fuse hes just, you know, very focused on monitoring her. he doesnt want the malice to twist her.
Warriors is calculating ten different scenarios like hes playing chess on four boards at once. but hes also… impressed by her ability to control it and not get corrupted, and he kinda hates that he’s impressed. he’d flirt through the fear. “malice wielder huh? cute. horrifying, but still cute.” (he’d pretend hes not stressed but god hes stressed.)
Twilight is the only one who doesn’t back away even an inch. dude’s touched corruption before. literally turned into a wolf bc of it. (I mean shadow magic isn’t malice but it’s still dangerous to denizens if the light realm ya know?) so hes the most steady.
Sky is weirdly gentle about it. he doesn’t flinch but (y/n) can feel the little tensing of muscles under his skin. he sees her using it without losing herswlf and he respects that she no doubt has a strong will to handle it. He’s kinda like ‘wow thats terrifying, but also cool. but also i want to keep u safe more than ever because that stuff eats people alive.”
Wild gets it. he REALLY gets it. malice is personal to him. so (y/n) having it under her control is a lot. he respects the hell out of it but hes also hyper alert around her. like “if the malice hurts you i will find a way to destroy it.” he’s scared for her but if anyone tries to judge her for it? hes biting them.
Time is terrified of losing her to it. but the moment she shows control? he’s a hint more relaxed about it but very cautious and occasionally asking how she feels and if the power is burdening her. (Cause if she wnats it gone he’ll be searching for a way to purify her from it so fast she’ll get whiplash)
Legend has a meltdown inside his skull. outside hes like ‘yeah sure whatever ive fought ganon several times nothing surprises me anymore.” inside he is screaming. hed hover but deny hes hovering, I mean, she moves and hes suddenly two steps behind pretending he wasnt following her. (He just wnats her to stop getting into such situations damnit!)
they dont fear (y/n). they fear losing her to something so ancient and corrupting.
and because they love her (in all their weird and borderline unhealthy ways) the malice doesnt push them away, they all wanna be the one who makes sure she stays herself, not whatever the malice tries to make her.
Hey I love your mafia Au for Linked Universe, little fuzzy on wether it’s supposed to be our world or some modern kind of hyrule, but anyways there’s always two things I can’t help but think about two things when I read these stories.
1) if it is our world they’d probably have some scars around the tips of their ears, cause they’d have to get rid of the points to seem human
2) what if Wind’s grandma and sister were there too
Ooooh if Wind’s grandma and sister were there, I bet he’s cry the second he realizes they’re there.
Maybe his grandma runs a tiny coastal bakery. his grandma’s bakery operates under a different district code entirely.
(Twilight and Warriors helped to arrange patrols around the area.
His sister Aryll would probably be interested in studying the marine life there, but is super curious about all the strange things there, absolutely ecstatic about the fact that seagulls are also in this world, probably wears oversized sweaters cause poor island child isn’t used to such cold temperatures. Eheheh, I bet his grandma spoils Wind’s seagulls (as in the street kids that worked for him) with baked treats when she thinks no one is watching. (Lets the kiddies enjoy the sense of doing something harmlessly naughty.)
Ayrll just spoils literal seagulls with fish.
Hmmm I think he TRIED to hide his mafia stuff from thimk but his grandma easily figured out know he works dangerous jobs.
She knows he runs with the wrong crowd sometimes.
She knows he’s reckless, stubborn, and occasionally visits bruised more than he should be.
His grandma just sighs, wipes his face with a warm cloth, and says ‘as long as youre not selling drugs or hitting women, i can still be proud of you.”
He’s rather happy and relieved that he can say he hasnt Don either of those things. (he doesn’t know later in the future cause there ARE female assassins and opponents but he’ll get there when he gets there)
As for the ear thing
I thought about how they’d deal with their ears, I think they’d avoid that cause (y/n) WOULD eventually find out they had pointed ears via any past photos of them and eventually she’ll see their ear scars and put two and two together and feel very upset that they had such a thing done to their ears and they do NOT want to be part of any reason that made her cry ya know?
So maybe the boys exploit the fact that most people dont look closely.
especially in a big modern city where everyone is stressed, rushing, half asleep, and glued to their phones. the chain leans hard into this.
Warriors has probably said it more than once that ‘if theyre staring at your ears, you already messed up the rest of your appearance.’
Maybe for those who refer it earcuffs, layered chains, cartilage rings, metal drapes strategically so the pointed shape blends into the jewelry.
people assume it’s just a bold aesthetic.
Legend’s especially good at this.
His earrings practically frame the point but distract the eye so perfectly that humans gloss over it.
Warriors uses a mix of jewelry and purposely styled hair, tousled, just messy enough to cover.
Four just uses simple ear cuffs he personally made off them (what, even in the modern world there’s still blacksmiths!)
Sky, Wild, and Twilight grows their hair a bit longer on the sides, not enough to look suspicious, just lightly shaggy, the ears peek out, but most people assume they’re a genetic trait or they just don’t care enough to ask.
Also Twilight also has that rancher’s confidence.
People rarely question someone who looks like they could throw you through a wall.
Wind’s the least subtle, doesn’t hide them well. or at all. Like, his hair is short, ears poke out.
kids love it, adults assume he’s mixed or has a congenital trait or jsut him enjoying the customer props
the others constantly tells him to pull his hood up or wear the damn hat.
does he listen?
no~
Hyrule probably does the same thing but he really works the messy hair and most people end up focusing on that rather than his ears. (He also gets repeatedly lectured)
Time uses the simplest trick of all:
authority.
(no one looks too closely at someone who radiates ‘Look at me directly and die.’)
Maybe he slicks his hair back only in private or around the chain.
in public he might keep it slightly looser, enough to cast shadows over the shape.
but even if someone did notice they wouldn’t say it out loud.
they don’t get paid enough to point out anything on a mafia kingpin.

Hello dear friend!!✨✨ I read your Halloween fanfiction (with reader) over and over again, and I congratulate you greatly!! I particularly liked the passages from Warrior and Legende (mainly because I spent my time blushing-) BUT THEN a question nags me!! What is Ravio doing here!!?? Plus, given how he behaved with Reader, does he have feelings for her too? If so would he be yandere too, and would it bother the Links if he liked her too??? Since Ravio comes from their world, will the Links leave him alone and try to gain Reader's favor so that she forgets him or will they try to get rid of him? (like k*lling him) I have so many questions to ask😭😭
Heheh, didn’t mean to cause so many questions!
easy answers of course! Hmm ah yes to clarify, it is the setting is basically a Au version of our modern world. Not a modern Hyrule. They went to HER world after all!
Ravio is in the mafia AU because ( simplest and cleanest answer) is…cause I reeeeeally wanted to add him
As for technical reasons, I dunno maybe he he followed the magic trail left behind by chain when they were pulled into her world.
he didn’t mean to land in a crime ridden modern city full of trench coats, guns, and supernatural politics. (He’ll adjust wonderfully)
he was just trying to find her. he used whatever unstable multiverse nonsense he could get his hands on.
Maybe something ccidentally dragged him through while messing with portals
Maybe Ravio used a broken, half functional dimensional artifact and locked onto the signature she and/or the chain left behind
Or…ya know…the timelines and fabric if realities were already unstable enough that he slipped through the cracks
point is folks, he came looking for her. that’s the core.
does Ravio have feelings for her?
yes. painfully yes.
he fell for her just like any budding lovesick fool does, helplessly, and thinking he has no right to it. he tries to hide it but he’s absolutely gone for her. the softness she gives him? the little laughs? the gentle way she treats him? he melts. internally, externally, spiritually.
and yes,Ravio would be yandere. (Please see two-parter TTAU side story for him! Part one Here!)
In mafia Au, he’s learned to be subtle, patient, and calculating when pushed.
he is the ‘i would die for you” type, not the “i will kill for you” type… (….I’m lying he’s definitely both but he’s trying his best to be a good boy for her you know!)
does it bother the Links that he likes her too?
And yes, it absolutely does annoyed the hell outta the Links.
the chain didn’t sign up to share her with anyone outside their group.
I mean, come one, they barely tolerate sharing her with each other and they trust eachothers feelings for her!
Ravio showing up is like introducing a stray rabbit (heh) into a den of wolves. they all look at him and go ‘no. absolutely not. get in line or get out.”
the only reason he isn’t dead is cause
1.he’s from their world
2.she likes him
3.killin him would upset her
And 4. Legend would actually snap if they killed his Lorule counterpart for no reason (if he has to be killed, Legend would do it himself Like hell he’ll let a counterpart of himself to die by anyone else’s hands)
they can’t get rid of Ravio without raising (y/n)’s suspicion. she’s kind to him, trusts him, goes to his shop, talks to him freely because he’s the only one who doesn’t suffocate her (he’s reeeally paid attention to make her enjoy his company.)
that alone makes the chain furious.
No doubt they’ll warn him to behave and they watch him constantly
Legend especially.
Legend knows Ravio better than anyone, he sees right through him, he clocks immediately that Ravio is in love with her and he hates it. Legend probably gives the harshest rules, the longest lectures, the worst death glares, threatens him too.
Ravio obeys…mostly ( >w>) but he’s not stupid. he knows the one rule that protects him is that as long as (y/n) likes having him around no one can make him disappear
without answering to her first and he’s absolutely relying on that until they back off.
would they kill him if they could?
Which leads to your other question, and and yes. They’d kill him without hesitation.
Ravio surviving is a direct result of her affection.
if she ever said ‘i don’t want to see Ravio anymore.’ But doesn’t hate him, he would vanish overnight and be exiled from the city and banned form ever seeing her again (ONLY she said she wished him the best, which means she would wanna see him again at some point!.)
if she ever said ‘i miss Ravio.’ the chain would drag him back by the collar (which makes it a good thing they don’t kill him, but they’d defintely have a hassle and a half figuring out how to explain that he’s dead. Hmmm Ya think they prep a…Nevermind of course they would prep an alibi.)
he only exists safely because of her.
and he knows that and he adores her so much that he’s willing to go deal with those guy’s paranoia.
He may be a coward, but he still a counterpart of a hero of courage and that definitely means he’s not to be underestimated.
I was always a big fan of the Silly Billy mod so this was DEFINITELY a surprise of wonderful proportions~
the linework on these is messy but it WORKS ya know? You knew exactly where to let it get rough. the thick shadows around the eyes and that huge grin and the way the black just swallows half his face makes him look feral and unstable without even needing extra detail which is absolutely great given the lore behind why BF became like that in the mod. those sketchy strokes on the shirt and arms add to that, especially with how you makes sure to accentuate his arm muscles! Love how you make his skin dry in places, especially around the lips, he definitely looks ragged and run down. Perfect!
the coloring choices are so smart too. the hot pink neon scribble cuts right through it. it almost looks like it’s glowing on top of the art. the smoke effect layered over him makes it feel like he’s crawling out of something. and when you see the version without heavy shading, you can really appreciate how strong the base drawing is. the whole thing holds up even stripped down.
And his hair, I’m veeeeery happy with this result YS know?
in all honesty, I just genuinely adore and love this piece. Wonderful work! Well done!
HIIIII Gliphy and I were obsessing over sirens and other legends and myth tales and before we knew it boom we have a new AU specifically for Wind's era AHAHHAHSJSVJS
Meet Skiff :DDD (Ava named him. She calls him Skiffles when hes being cute) hes the same age as my Wind so hes also 16. Hes named Skiff cuz *checks notes* "It’s a small boat. but small boats are fast, nimble, and survive storms because they bend." (He calls her Sloop in retaliation HAHAHA) Enjoy (╯°□°)╯
Look at that patchwork, torn sleeves, he’s definitely had that thing stitched and restitched who knows how many times. and THOSE wave patterns?? the way they spiral up the cloth, (I like staring at them)
Also that cloth belt over the sash probably got more charms tied under it, ya know out boy keeps at least one dried lavender bundle or protection sigil tucked in there.
Love how weather worn the boots are, and the charms around them! he’s definitely kicked something possessed while trying to control his boat during a storm before and said nothing about it
The trinket is very cool! For all that his outfit looks very sloppy and messy, no doubt he wears things like that cause of a genuine reason and not cause it looks cool. (And also cause maybe (y/n) has a habit of looking at it sway when she’s lost in thought and he really likes when she’s looking in his direction)
And I genuinely love how you drew his hair, cause I know dang well he doesn’t consider brushing his hair worth the effort, this is the hair of someone who wears a hood or bandanna when he wants to avoid people nagging him about his hair.
honestly the color work is gorgeous too, I am always a sucker for blues so this is already a winner for me~
And those scars! I love the placement of them. Many people go for stylish scars so I like how eveey exposed patch of skin has some scar on it.
And that STARE! ocean gave him trauma alright. his eyes look like they’ve memorized every kind of monster in those waters, (but they still soften when (y/n) hums, I just know it.)
I am fully aware of my lack luster attendance, please forgives
But! I come with Au idea!
Made together with darling Dree @eternadreeblissa
Please do have a lookie!
Now, what I was thinking for the great sea in this Au
It’s still bright and blue…but only at first glance. Or if you just never sailed away from your island, which Wind never did before his sister was taken.
Something about the sea is off. The fog creeps in suddenly each day at random, even worse when it rains. Islands vanish from sight. Compasses spin. Youd hear things at night, singing, crying, murmuring in languages no one remembers. The wind changes direction without warning. Sometimes, people jump into the sea and are never seen again. Sometimes, people come back wrong.
Travelers whisper about sirens, but they’re not pretty mermaids. They’re thin, longlimbed things that move wron, mouths too wide, eyes too bright. Some look human. Some sound like people you lost. Some knock on your hull and beg to be let in. Some just wait in the fog, watching.
The Great Sea is bigger than it should be. Maps never match up. Some islands show up once and never again even if you had stepped foot on them and taken something from it as the onky proof it existed. Even the sky feels closer sometimes, pressing in like the sea wants to swallow everything
Like…It’s blue. Deep blue. Sometimes there’s no other way to describe it as black even though there is no doubt It’s always blue.
So blue it starts to look wrong if you stare long enough. Not dark or stormy or bright. Even tho it looks liek to at times. Liek you’re sailing over a transparently covered hole that’s moments from opening and dropping you in, boat and all.
Bright in that too wide, endless kind of way i mean
You squint into the horizon and there’s just..more. Even if you know the next island is (should be) close enough to be in view
Like the ocean never ends, like it’s wrapped around the whole world, and the world is just a speck of dirt in its eye. Which makes the solitude real noticable
Makes you feel lonely in the way the sea holds you. Like a hand gripping too tight.
You’re alone, even with someone beside you. You speak and your words get swallowed. You sleep and feel like the ocean is listening. The islands are sparse, distant, and strange. Some whisper. Some move. Some remember you when you come back. Which sounds ridiculous but there is no explanation and that should unnerve you as much as it does but it does.
the sky is…wide, the scale, the dizzying realization that nothing you do matters out here. You could drown and…that’s it…no one would find your corpse, no one would know you died, *nothing you did mattered*.
It’s too big, too open, sometimes you look up or down and feel like you’re falling downward into the waters or upward into the sky. The fog lifts just enough to show stars you don’t recognize. A constellation blinks back at you. You blink, and it’s gone.
Compass doesn’t work sometimes even if a moment before it did. Time doesn’t work even if you painstakingly count the seconds. Days blur together sometimes cause you don’t remember if night passed or not.
Nights are silent even if all you hear are waves. You sail and sail and the ocean doesn’t care.
It’s not cruel. It just..the sea, and it could swallow you anytime it wants.
Wind left Outset at 12 but this version of the journey was longer. Lonelier. The King of Red Lions was there for a time during his journey, but after the fact, there were long stretches where Wind was left drifting. He had to handle storms, monsters, and empty islands with no help. He was brave, but it chipped away at him.
Years pass. He’s still young, still…somewhat bright eyed but the brightness is tired. Faded. He talks to himself to keep himself focused. He sleeps with one hand on his sword and the other on the tiller (you know the handle that he uses to turn the sail boat). He sings shanties to fill the silence, but his voice cracks. He’s seen things, things in the fog, glowing figures floating like corpses underwater, his own reflection staring back at him in from the waves with glowing eyes even when he doesn’t.
He smiles. He jokes. But sometimes it doesn’t reach his eyes. Sometimes he stares at the water and doesn’t blink. He sleeps light. Jumps at certain sounds. Keeps logs, maps, notes…songs. His journal’s filled with them,
half shanties, half mantras. Maybe he’s hoping his voice keeps him real.
So sailing with Tetra’s crew for a while did certainly help but…it made the things out in the fog more unpredictabl when it had more things to use against him.
He’d rather sail alone than with other who will possible be used against him
So when (y/n) falls into his world, he’s startled, suspicious, and so unbearably lonely. He thinks she might be a sire at first. He’s ready to strike. But she’s warm. (Very much real) Shes unique compared to anyone else he has ever met and that includes the great fairies.
She doesnt vanish depsite time passing. And when she doesn’t run away after he has a panic attack and nearly throws something at the sight of her the first time, he realizes she might be safe.
She anchors him and slowly, he starts letting her steer. Letting her cook. Lettig her patch him up. She realizes pretty fast that he’s not alright, but he function, in his way. She finds his notebooks filled with maps that don’t match, notes in the margins like ‘don’t go back here’ and ‘the island talked.’
Sometimes he talks about the sea like it’s a person. Sometimes he looks at her and whispers, ‘you’re not a siren, right?’ with a scared little laugh. He never pushes her to answer, just holds her hand tighter.
When she starts singing one day when they are on land, or maybe on Tetra’s ship, maybe she was humming idly while cleaning the deck, he panics so hard he nearly falls overboard. It takes him weeks to get used to her humming again even if he apologizes profusely for his reaction.
He keeps her close, not out of control, but out of fear that the sea will take her like it tried to take him many times before.
She isn’t used to the sea like he and other sailors are, isn’t aware of the stories and lessons his world has (so he definitely was intrigued by the idea of a world of most land than sea, and none of the creatures within). He has to teach her in the event that they get separated.

So APPARENTLY the new years bit I had on queue to post DIDN’T wanna post itself and I only noticed now.
So I am laaate. 😭
Please forgive me and enjoy!!
And of course, happy (late) new year to everyone!
——
The sun had long since dipped below the horizon, leaving the sky a deep blue velvet scattered with stars. Snow blanketed the hills of Lon Lon Ranch, untouched and sparkling under the lanterns that lined the fences. Malon had gone all out, her stubborn cheer painting every wooden beam of the barn with wreaths of pine and ribbon, handmade by her and (y/n) earlier that day.
Inside, the barn had been cleared out for the night’s gathering. Lanterns were strung along the rafters, casting lazy golden light across piles of hay bales and the central fire pit, where flames crackled low and steady. Steam curled up form trays of roasted vegetables, sizzling meats, crusty bread, and hearty stews. The warmth, smells, the laughter, it really allowed one to relax into the atmosphere.
Wind was first to stir the chaos, stacking cider mugs into a wobbly tower while Wild and Four reluctantly joined in. Wild only caved after glancing over his shoulder to check on (y/n), who was sitting cross legged beside Warriors and Malon. Her smile made his ears pink.
“Almost got it-hey!” Wind yelped as the tower tipped. Four caught it at the last second, his hand steady and face deadpan. “Again!”
Twilight stood nearby, arms crossed, watching the mug tower like it personally offended him. His eyes kept drifting to (y/n), flicking to her every time she laughed too loud or leaned too close to someone else. He wasn’t the only one.
Legend sat across the fire, very poorly pretending he didn’t sneak a second slice of pie. (y/n) caught him mid bite.
“Did you…steal that whole pie, or am I losing my mind?”
“Pie doesn’t have owners.” he grunted, not slowing.
“Tell that to Malon when she finds out.”
He just shrugged and kept eating. Across from him, Wild looked like he might take the pie straight out of his hands.
Sky sat beside Hyrule with his harp, his fingers plucking out soft chords. When (y/n) leaned over to compliment the tune, Hyrule smiled first. Then Sky adjusted his song, not changing the notes, but they sounded much warmer after her compliment.
Warriors, meanwhile, had rolled up his sleeves and settled into full storytelling mode, throwing dramatic gestures as he recounted a battle. Malon listened with raised brows, cider in hand, while (y/n) laughed into her cup.
“How come all the silly stories come from the army?” she asked, eyes sparkling.
Warriors leaned in, voice low. “We train in the art of war and the art of punchlines.”
Sky’s strumming got louder, Twilight’s eyes narrowed. Four had wandered over just to stand next to (y/n), brushing imaginary hay off her shoulder. Wild sat down on her other side with a plate he offered her first. His own sat forgotten in his lap.
Malon sipped and smirked after everyone eventually gave her and (y/n) space. “You’ve settled into this strange little group well.”
“I still don’t know what to call it,” (y/n) admitted, her gaze drifting across the fire to where Time stood in the doorway, his arms crossed and his expression unreadable.
“Doesn’t need a name.” Malon said. “Family’s enough. Strange one, but one nonetheless.”
(y/n) didn’t answer. Not out loud, anyway.
Midnight crept in without fanfare. Sky shifted the tune on his harp to something slower, more wistful. Wind and Hyrule passed around small lanterns, palm sized paper ones with tiny lights inside. One by one, the boys filtered outside.
Twilight lit his and let it go without a word.
Four stared into his for a long time before whispering something and releasing it gently.
Legend tilted his up to the sky, silent as always.
(y/n) held hers a little longer.
“Got a wish?” Malon asked softly.
She nodded but didn’t say it. She didn’t have to. Everyone knew what she wanted.
When she let hers go, she turned and saw Time still in the doorway, watching her with a look so soft it startled her.
He tilted his head toward the horse stalls.
An invitation.
She hesitated, just for a second.
Then nodded, knowing him, he probably had already informed the others so her disappearing won’t cause too much of a ruckus.
They slipped away from the others without a sound. Time led her to a thick-coated grey mare, already saddled, waiting just beyond the gate. He offered his hand and helped her mount. She tried not to notice how warm his palms were, or how carefully his grip lingered.
Then he swung up behind her in one smooth motion. His arm brushed hers as he took the reins, and she swore she could feel the steady rhythm of his breath against her back.
They rode in silence at first, the path winding gently toward the forest. The moon hung bright above them, stars scattered like confetti across the velvet dark.
“Where are we going?” she asked quietly.
“You’ll see.” he murmured.
“…This isn’t another weird situation, right?”
“No weirdness tonight.”
She relaxed against him, her fingers brushing over his on the reins. He sucked in a slow breath at the touch, but said nothing.
The stars above were brilliant, too many to count. She tilted her head up, wide eyed.
“The stars are beautiful.” she whispered, “never coukd stop watching them when they are this clear.”
“You once said you rarely saw them. Back home.”
“Too many lights.” she said. “Streetlamps. Buildings. You’d have to go waaay out into the country to see this many.”
Time looked skyward. “Despite growing up beneath them, I still find myself staring as well.”
“So many and they are older than anything else in the world if you think about it. Like, the stars you see right now have existed when Sky’s era was around and even the era before his. And Wild’s era has stars that we are seeing right now.” She breathed. “Makes you feel small.”
“Not a bad thing.” he replied, taking in the stars with a newer perspective due to her words. “There’s comfort in knowing we aren’t meant to hold everything.”
“Or control it.” she added.
He smiled faintly, guiding the horse without thought. His other arm drifted slightly, almost like it wanted to hold her without permission.
The forest came into view then, a looming shape darker than the sky.
She tensed.
He noticed.
“It’s alright.” he said softly. “I know these trees. They won’t lead you astray so long as I’m guiding us.”
“Ok.” She said.
The mare stepped carefully into the snow covered brush. No birds, no owls, only creaking bark and the soft crunch of hooves.
Then…music.
A soft melody on an ocarina. Familiar song she’s heard Time place every now and then when he was in a musical mood.
When the trees finally parted, the clearing ahead was bathed in moonlight. A tall stump stood in the center. Atop it sat a small green haired girl, cross legged, playing a tune with her eyes closed. A fairy hovered lazily near her head.
As they stepped into y he area, she opened her eyes and smiled.
“Took you long enough.”
(y/n) blinked. She was gripping Time’s arm tightly.
“Hello, Saria.” Time greeted warmly.
Ah, so this is the famed Saria.
The girl hopped down, her fairy zipping ahead to circle Time’s head like an excited pet. Time helped (y/n) down carefully.
“You’re…Saria?” she asked.
The girl bowed her head. “Kokiri of the Forest. And unawakened Sage, if this big oaf’s to be believed.”
Time sighed. (y/n) instantly relaxed. He only sighed like that when they were teasing him.
“Sounds like you know him pretty well,.” she said, smiling.
Saria giggled. “Changed a diaper or two. He screamed louder than the cuccos some days.”
“…Really?” (y/n) looked at him.
He didn’t even deny it. “I find it funny that none of you believe my stories.”
“I believe them! Just…you say a lot of fantastical things…is all.”
“I don’t need to lie.”
“Yeah…that’s kinda the problem.”
Saria let out a happy laugh.
That made (y/n) blush as she realized she had briefly forgotten the green haired girl.
Saria’s eyes were bright and curious.
“He talks about you a lot in his letters.”
“…Oh no.”
“All good. He only speaks of things that matter.”
“…That doesn’t sound like him. He’s the vague one of the group.”
“I am very clear about what I talk about.” Time said behind her, like it was just a fact.
“Hmmm…nope, still don’t see it.”
“Hey now..”
Saria giggled again.
Soon they were walking, Saria leading them deeper through the trees, which were as troublesome for (y/n) as they were in Wild’s era.
“Sometimes I think it tries to turn me around.” she muttered.
“It still does to me from time to time, but mostly when I’m in no hurry to get anywhere.”
“Well that’s because the forest misses you and wants to play..” Saria replied. “Even if you come back often, it’s never enough for us.”
“I know.” Was his answer.
As they walked, Saria was explaining to (y/n) how the Kokiri celebrated the new year.
“Spirits like gifts.” Saria explained. “The Kokiri make things from what the forest gives us.”
“Spirits?” (y/n) asked, glancing back.
Time just gave her a look. She stuck out her tongue at him.
Eventually, they reached the village, if you could call it that. No houses. Just trees shaped into homes, rope bridges. Kokiri children darted around laughing. One of them sprinted straight for Time.
“LINK!”
Time immediately grabbed them by the scruff of their clothes and held them in the air. “Mido.” Was the flat greeting.
“Well well, look who’s back.” Being in air jail didn’t deter the Kokiri.
“Did you think I was gonna stay away forever?”
“You just can’t resist coming back no matter what I say huh?”
“If you want to tell Saria you told me not to come back, be my guest.”
“You what?” Saria’s voice sharpened.
“Wait-no-I didn’t mean it!”
“Mido?” (y/n) whispered, eyes wide. The one who messed with Time when he was a kid?
“That’s CHIEF Mido to you, outsider!”
Those two bickered like brothers and boy was Mido a fiery one. She tried not to laugh.
she wondered what kinda pranks he’d love to pull with her.
“She’s a guest.” Saria snapped. “Behave.”
Time still held the kid by the scruff like a disobedient cat.
“You’re still a brat.” he said.
“You’ve got wrinkles.” Mido fired back.
Oh yeah. Definitely childhood friends.
…
…so about those pranks..
Saria sighed, then turned to (y/n) (who was totally not planning some things in possible future visits) with a sheepish smile. “We celebrate the New Year a bit differently here. It’s…small, but special.”
“What do you do?” (y/n) asked, stepping a little closer to Saria as they continued into the village.
“We whisper wishes into seeds picked for the great Deku Tree and toss them into the lost woods.’ Saria explained “we take the seeds and then travel to the edge of Kokiri forest. Afterwards, we all sit together in front of the Deku tree and play music. Or hum. Or dance”
Oh cool…
Wait, the Great Deku tree???
“You don’t have to whisper it if you don’t want to. If you think of your wish while holding it close to your chest, that’s enough.” Saria continued.
…
….Like the Tree that Time was raised by????
THAT Deku tree?????
—-
—-
While she internally screamed at meeting someone so significant to Time. She was guided to a large clearing.
(y/n)’s breath caught when she saw the tree. It was an enormous tree. (And to think that Time said it used to be BIGGER before Ganon curses it.)
It stood rooted in the center of a large grove.
Time’s shoulders eased as he guided the horse forward, even the Kokiri children fell quiet as they walked toward the tree.
It took a moment before the tree spoke, his mouth stretching into an smile that rumbled the ground with its chuckle. The voice was deep, but warm.
“So you’ve returned, my wayward child.” the Deku Tree said, the warmth in his tone unmistakable.
Time huffed a laugh through his nose, tilting his head like a rebellious son caught sneaking in past curfew. “I’ve returned.”
“And you’ve brought company. A precious one I see.”
(y/n) blinked. It took her a second to realize the tree was looking directly at her.
Time stepped aside and gestured with a gentle flourish, suddenly all too proud. “This is her.”
She gave a shy wave, feeling slightly ridiculous in front of a tree.
“Hello sir.”
“Why, she looks lovely.” the Deku Tree said warmly. “I see why you appear like an anxious wolf hovering over her.”
Time flushed. That earned a few snickers from nearby Kokiri (Mido). Even the fairies twinkled brighter, bell like noises ringing in the air.
“I do not hover.” he grumbled under his breath.
“You do.” Saria said with a singsong tone, sliding up beside him with seeds in hand. “Constantly.”
The Kokiri had already begun moving through the grove, each walking up and climbing onto the Deku Tree, grabbing seeds and making sure everyone had one before they all walked to the edge of Kokiri Forest and, after a moment to whisper their wishes to the seeds, threw their seeds into the mist and trees.
It was a tradition older than Time could remember, he’d say to (y/n), a way to mark the end of the year, each seed a wish or thanks. The spirits of the woods would carry the intentions. If they liked you, maybe they’d even grant it.
She held hers tight and close it her chest.
She missed her family.
So she thought of them, thought about returning to them..
And threw the seed hard into the mist and trees.
It felt nice doing something physical.
And hey, even if it didn’t work, at least there was a seed either planted to one day grow, or a meal for a critter.
All in all. (y/n) liked this new year’s tradition.
“I’m glad you do.” Time said when she relayed her thoughts to her. took (y/n)’s hand and led her forward as everyone went back to the Deku Tree to continue their small celebration..
“You know, I used to sit under him when I was small.” he said softly. “Before I ever held a sword. When all I wanted was to climb trees and outrun Mido.”
“Ah. Should have figured the part where you were raised by fairies was true.” she asked, sighing. “Wait, woukdnt that kinda make you one?”
His eyes flicked sideways. “Sort of. I thought I was. He raised me like one. Let me believe, which wasn’t a bad thing..”
The Deku Tree gave a small creak, like a knowing chuckle.
(y/n) watches as Time looked up at the Deku tree. there was something boyish in his grin, just for a second.
“I still remember the first time you climbed my roots and scraped your knees.” the Tree said. “You cried for quite a while, then got mad when Saria laughed.”
Time groaned. “Why must you remember everything?”
“Because it’s adorable.” Saria chimed. “You were such a cute baby.”
Time covered his face with his hand when (y/n) burst into laughter.
——-
———
time passed slowly, (y/n) watched as the Kokiri danced, she had enjoyed a lot of the foods them . Someone handed her a small flute carved from hollowed wood. She smiled and joined in, the notes she played uneven but cheerful. Several Kokiri clapped and some fairies flew near her.
Meanwhile, Time sat with the Deku Tree, crosslegged like he used to when he was small.
“You’ve grown taller.” the tree said quietly.
“Apparently, I still have much growing to do if that is what you always say when I visit.” Time said dryly, the Deku tree chuckled.
“Yet, not too tall to forget this place.”
“Never.”
There was a pause. “For all you have lived, I believe this is the first time you have brought someone to meet us.”
Time’s jaw flexed. “I…care for her. Strongly.”
“Do you love her?”
Silence.
Then “…Yes.”
The tree hummed thoughtfully, the sound like wind through deep roots. “You learned how to love from us, I’ve no doubt that it might err in some ways to how Hylians do so.”
“I have never seen a problem with it.”
“She’s seems rather nice.” the Deku Tree mused. “And she is getting along with everyone here. A shame you both will leave eventually.”
Time didn’t answer.
“She reminds me of a lost spirit, not of this realm.” the Tree added with amusement, the comparison quite ironic given where they were.“just waiting to be stolen by someone clever.”
“I’d protect her from such a thing.” Time muttered.
The Deku Tree’s leaves rustled louder than the wind could account for. “You seem rather sure of your heart’s desire.” It wasn’t a question.
Not with how Time watched (y/n) as she laughed with the other Kokiri.
“She’s kind.” the tree continued. “But too trusting. And you…you burn too brightly.”
“I won’t hurt her.”
“Not intentionally.” the Deku Tree said. “But a love like yours, can overwhelm if not managed carefully.”
“I’ll protect her.”
“Be sure you don’t become the very thing she needs protecting from.”
Time said nothing again.
The Deku Tree chuckled softly again. “You have been doing well enough it seems. Just continue to take care.”
“I am.”
“She’s not the only one being watched, you know.”
Time’s gaze sharpened. “I’m the one who matters.”
“Wel regardless of the path you walk, you are still a child of the forest, and you will always be one regardless wherever or whenever you are.”
The Deku Tree said.
——
——-

As the celebration continued, the two watched as Mido chatted with (y/n) while he tugged her toward a small knot of Kokiri chatting near a lantern hung with braided ropes..
“She’s a rather amazing person, isn’t she?” Saria said to Time as she walked over.
He didn’t look away dotn (y/n) . “Yes.”
“You know, she’s pretty popular with everyone, even Mido likes her! you should bring her again soon.” She chimed.
“Possibly.”
“What do you mean possibly?? Friends share special people!”
He smiled and looked at her. “I’ll think about it.”
Saria gave a soft exhale, and smile. “The spirits have been amused by the increase in Stalfos.”
Time raised a brow as he looked back at (y/n). “Mm.”
“Funny, if it were not due to my status as Sage of the Forest, I wouldn’t have sensed the reason why.”
“Is that so.” he said, not moving.
“It’s rather interesting to see that such tragic circumstances bloom from such tender emotions.”
“Sounds poetic.”
Saria tilted her head. “I liked the last one’s cloak. The skull kids have enjoyed the material.”
“Too flashy I suppose?”
“Indeed.”
She bumped her shoulder against his. “Just try not to break her heart. She’s sweet.”
“I don’t break what I protect.”
“You sure?”
Time turned to her slowly. “Very.”
A silence passed between them.
Then, almost playfully, Saria asked, “You know… if you ever wanted, you could bring her here. Into the forest. She wouldn’t have to leave. You wouldn’t either. The Lost Woods could keep you both.”
His breath paused. The corner of his mouth curled.
“I’m not considering becoming Stalfos or a forest spirit with her…” not yet.
Saria didn’t flinch at the answer, nor did she laugh. “Well…” she murmured, her tone light but distant, “the forest has a funny way of keeping what it loves. Just something to think about.”
“Of course.” He responded.
Then she smiled and leaned against his side.
“Welcome home, Link.”

——-
They stayed a while longer in the glow of the Deku Tree.
The Kokiri danced, fairies twinkled like fireflies, and the sounds of music drifted through the trees. (y/n) sat near the fire with a flute in her lap, her laughter spilling easy and bright as the children coaxed her into their silly games. Her breath clouded in the cold, her cheeks flushed with joy.
Time didn’t speak much. He simply watched her engage with the people he was raised with.
When it was time to leave, he helped her mount the mare once more. She was drowsy from the warmth and the cider, her words soft and slurred with sleep. She leaned back against him, eyes half lidded, her head eventually resting under his chin.
The ride back starts quiet. Quiet in a good way. Time was relaxed again, one hand holds the reins, the other stays wrapped around a dozing off (y/n) without even thinking about it. Thumb unconsciously rubbing slow, absent circles at her side.
She’s leaning back into him, pointing out bits of moonlight between the trees, soft little comments about how pretty everything looks in the forests. He hums in response, guiding the horse with barely a thought, his attention never fully leaving her.
Even while he navigates, his grip adjusts when the horse steps unevenly. His arm tightens when she shifts in her sleep. When she sighs and settles deeper against his chest, his hold stiffens just a little. Like if something tried to take her now, it would have to go through him first. And nothing ever really does.
That’s when the Stalfos wanders into view.
Just another enemy at first. Loose bones drifting between the trees, sword held in its grip as it moves. It doesn’t even register as important until its skull turned and they came into its view.
It reacted as most Stalfos do when it spots someone, raising its sword and slowly approaching them.
Until it saw Time.
And the thing froze.
Not mid step like it’s surprised. More like it suddenly remembers something it shouldn’t. Its bones rattle faintly, shoulders hitching as if it’s shaking. One foot slides back. Then another. The sword lifts, but the motion is hesitant. L Like it knows exactly who it’s standing in front of and hates that there’s nowhere to run.
Time doesn’t stop the horse.
The bow was in his hand before the Stalfos can finish raising its sword. With a smooth and practiced motion, the arrow flew throw the open space and arrived exactly where Time wanted it to.
The skull shatters.
The Stalfos collapses in a clatter of bones that scatter across the forest floor, the green flames snuffing it out until it was like it never existed. Time having put his bow away before the Stalfos fully vanished.
(y/n) stirs at the sound, a small startled noise leaving her throat.
“It’s alright.” He murmurs it softly, thumb brushing her side again. “Just the woods being noisy. Go back to sleep.”
She lifts her head, confused, peering around tiredly. but there was nothing but trees and moonlight. No danger, just her, Time, and their horse.
She nods after a moment, and settles in again, cheek pressing into his chest. her head tucked beneath his chin. Her breathing evens out within seconds.
Time guides the horse forward again, slipping right back into that relaxed rhythm like the interruption never existed.
And as the trees began to thin, the ranch coming into view again, a star suddenly shot across the sky.
It burned bright.
He didn’t say a word as he watched it.
But within, he made a wish. The same wish he made twice already that night.
Let her never leave us, let her never leave me. Let them all fall away if they must, but not her. Never her.
——-
——
The ranch is quiet when they return, given how late it was, everyone was deeply asleep by this point.
A few lanterns still flicker on their hooks, swaying gently in the breeze, casting slow moving shadows on the fences and snow. Smoke curls lazily from the dying embers of the barn fire, the faint scent of pine, ash, and cider still lingering in the cold air.
Most of the others are already asleep. The barn doors are half closed now, and inside, someone’s laid out the sleeping bags in a haphazard little circle, some tucked closer together than others.
Wind’s wrapped up in a blanket his blonde hair peeking out. Warriors and Legend are back to back, both snoring softly. Twilight’s curled up in his coat near the fire pit with Four draped across his legs like a sleepy cat. Wild’s half slumped against a hay bale. Sky and Hyrule are missing, but judging by the extra blankets, they’re probably tucked in one of the spare stalls or corners.
He dismounted silently.
She was already asleep, soft breaths against his collar. He held her a moment longer than necessary. Then lifted her carefully, her arms limp, cheek resting on his shoulder. She didn’t wake as he carried her into the barn.
He found her sleeping bag easily, dark with a brightflower embroidery. Likely Legend’s handiwork. He knelt and lowered her into it gently. She stirred only slightly.
His fingers brushed her hair back.
He didn’t speak.
Just stayed like that a second longer than he should have.
Then he stood and moved to shut the barn doors behind him, only to find Malon standing there, lantern raised and brow arched.
She didn’t look tired despite the late hour.
“Nice of you to come back before the first sunrise of the new year.” she said dryly.
He blinked once. “She needed fresh air.”
“She needed fresh air.” Malon echoed, stepping in just far enough for the snow to melt on her boots. Her gaze slid toward the sleeping circle, where (y/n) rested peacefully. ‘So you took her all the way into the woods.”
He didn’t answer.
“You know…” she said, eyes still on the girl curled up in blankets, “every time you boys stay long enough, something weird happens. People disappear. Strangers who get too friendly, men who ask the wrong questions, merchants who stare too long.”
Still no response.
“Funny how they vanish right around the same time the pigs stop whining about their meals.”
Time’s mouth twitched, but not into a smile. “Pigs are opportunistic. Not picky.”
“Neither are you lot.” she muttered.
The lantern flickered a bit between them.
“I didn’t take her away to distract anyone.” Time said calmly. “She was meeting my family.”
Malon gave him a long, knowing look. “You didn’t need to distract them, huh? Just happened to be the exact moment they were off… tidying up the riffraff?”
“I don’t ask what the others do when I’m gone.” Time replied evenly. “Nor do I monitor the behavior of men who harass someone under our protection.”
“So you’re not confirmin it?”
“I’m confirming that I took her for a ride to visit people I know.” he said. “That’s all.”
Malon snorted. “You’re such a liar.”
“I’ve never lied to you.”
“No.” she said, “but you’re awfully good at letting people hear what they want.”
A pause settled between them. Cold air trickled into the barn from behind her, but the heat in his stare never wavered.
“She’s safe now.” he said simply.
Malon tilted her head. “She’s got half a dozen shadows with weapons trailing her every time she leaves the house. Yeah. I noticed.”
Time’s tone didn’t change. “Would you rather she didn’t?”
“No, I care for her deeply too.” Malon said, sighing. “But next time, tell them to bury the bones a little farther from the livestock. One of my pigs came back with a wedding ring stuck in its teeth.”
Time’s expression didn’t shift. “I’ll speak with Legend.”
“You better.”
She looked at him again. Longer this time. Less teasing.
“She doesn’t know, does she?”
His silence said enough.
“Right.” she muttered. “She probably wouldn’t understand. Not yet.”
“She doesn’t need to know everything.”
“But she will,” Malon warned. “Eventually. One way or another.”
She stepped back, toward the doorway, then paused and gave him one last glance over her shoulder.
“I like her.” she added. “Really do, she’s special that one. And I’ll miss her something fierce if she left. But I don’t think she’s the kind of girl you can keep just by burying what gets too close.”
His eyes flicked past her, back to (y/n)’s peaceful sleeping form.
“I’m not keeping her.” he murmured. “I’m protecting her.”
They all were.
“Mm.” Malon adjusted her lantern. “Then protect her somewhere besides near my pigs.”
“I’ll keep that in mind.”
And with that, she slipped out into the cold, muttering something under her breath about bones, bacon, and raising rates for pig usage.
Time stood there a moment longer, then shut the doors behind her, quiet and final.
theyre so detailed, I like all patches and little techy designs. I’m a sucker for the color blue and I love how it feels like he just walked outta some underground lab. (Appropriate given the context) I’d be funny if he earned those pants doing something borderline illegal ( i’d support him ha!)
linework is so clean toox especialy in the hair. like the whole pose chill, hes cool, hes carrying a whole pencil like a sword and still looks casual.
that blue glow with the soft shadows got that nice smooth digital vibe without looking flat.
Love the suspenders too. Especially how he has one on and the other off~
So I have pretty bad social anxiety; don't like going to social functions, even when I know everyone at work, can't stand having people over at home, hate being touched, etc. How do you think the Yan Chain would handle having (y/n) being hard to open up, even to them, despite knowing each other for a good bit?
I'm sure they would be ecstatic knowing that she doesn't like interacting with other people, so more of (y/n) for themselves, but it would probably eat them up knowing she's not totally comfortable with them yet.
Ha! They’d be like little kids trying to behave so well just to get the piece of chocolate cake they were promised for good behavior and it is SO HARD.
Time would be endlessly patient, never rushing her, always hovering just close enough to remind her he’s there. Bur easily stepping because if he noticed a hint of discomfort from her. I mean, someone like HIM with his experiences would definitely know how to be patient. but the moment she finally lets him close, he’s definitely liek a man who is finally given water.
Warriors would laugh it off, but inside he’d be starving. every scrap of comfort she gives him, her leaning against him, her brushing his hand, is delayed gratification that gnaws at him. he’s used to charming people easily, so the slow pace keeps him awake at night because he definitely wonders if he’s doing something wrong but oooh when she DOES give him some physical contact, brushing against him or a small hug, it takes everything in him to not act like he’s been touched starved for all his live~ maybe she holds the end of his scarf when they are in a crowded place so she doesn’t lose sight of him and he is always happy when she does that.
Twilight would take it as a point of pride when she starts giving him attention ‘She doesn’t let anyone touch her, but she lets me.’ he doesn’t say it aloud, but the possessiveness radiates off him whenever someone else outside the group (and sometimes inside the group) tries to approaches her when she doesn’t feel comfortable. his eyes go sharp, his voice a low rumble, and suddenly she’s pressed against him whether she realizes it or not. Tho he definitely (and reluctantly) let’s go when she registers she’s against him so she knows he takes her comfort very seriously)
Legend would act irritated, muttering about how impossible she is, but it’s all deflection. because he knows every inch she allows is earned. And while he’s not as patient as Time, he’s very patient in a way the others arent, if anyone dared call her cold, he’d consider drawing his sword without hesitation.
Wild would be reckless about it. she flinches at a crowd? he drags her away immediately. she hates being touched? he studies the exact ways she doesn’t recoil, then sneaks more in until she doesn’t notice he’s holding her all the time.
Sky would ache at first, worrying it’s because he’s doing something wrong. but once he understands it’s just who she is, lhe’ll bend himself into knots to be the one person she never pushes away, and when she finally lets him in, it’s everything he’s hoped for ya know?
Hyrule would look calm, smiling and patient, but inside his mind is that of simp who so desperate to be allowed to hold his darling. he replays every moment she chose him over others, each touch she didn’t reject, until it’s proof carved into stone.
Wind would be the loudest, frustrated because he wants her to laugh and run with him. but the first time she clings to him out of fear instead of shoving him away? he’d learn to quiet down, because he wants her to feel safe with him and hold him out of comfort instead of just because she’s frightened by something. (Though he IS happy she clung to him)
Four would learn her patterns, figure out when she lowers her guard, when she raises her guard. When she is too distracted to be uncomfortable, when she’d settle for one discomfort over another, worse, level of discomfort. And he’d adapt to each of it so she’d know that she really doesn’t have to worry with him, he will always take her needs into account.
sooo, yeah. Even if it takes a looong time for her to get comfortable with them, they’ll be as patient as can be for her sake (even if it’s agony when all they want is to pull her into their arms and kiss away her sadness and leave her happy and wanting for nothing~)

I don't know why but..... (Y/n) And not(y/n) like secret bosses/assassins (one involuntary and the other voluntary) like (y/n) is like Zenitsu from Demon Slayer who turns into another person when he sleeps (me That's my interpretation [I haven't seen the movie or the training arc, so I have incomplete information].
Well I’m amused hehehe, especially considering my vision of (y/n) could never be anything but stubborn but I definitely see how it can work!
Tho talk about a different side of her if she’s unknowingly a graceful, deadly assassin in her sleep. (The Sheikah and Yiga WISH they could match her.)
almost like a second soul slipping into her body…¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (eheheh)
if Not!(y/n) is fully aware and has been acting in the shadows for longer, maybe even secretly covering for (y/n)’s unconscious work. Imagine Not!(y/n) is the one dragging bodies behind the scenes with a grin. Even better if (y/n) is the one who has the higher kill count~
And Not!(y/n) isn’t even upset, she’s just fangirling at how cool (y/n) is.
Ladies and gentleman may I humbly introduce you to one of the trusted ones of the chain (and also another yandere for Ava): Ralph <"3
(To those who dont know him, he's a guy Legend met during one of his adventures on the road which was Oracle of Ages. He actually becomes a very important character later on in the story!)
I gave him a redesign too, he deserves to look the part he was meant to play! And ofc I didnt forget the lore or ideas coming along w this! Or at least why he looks extra fancier here.
Details under the cut! And naturally, spoilers for OOA of you havent seen the game! <33
Now I'm still gonna have to revisit OOA cuz its been a while since I came back to LU 🥹 meaning things may change or be added here. But unless theres some details I have to adjust or improve, the ones ill talk abt here wont change!:
After the adventure in OOA with Link (Legend), Ralph grew worried for Nayru's safety (his childhood friend who is apparently the oracle of ages). I mean sure, there is the maku tree and even the princess Zelda or Impa who will be ready to help at a moment's notice. But even with all that, it may not be enough: cuz even with them Veran managed to get them all compromised and he couldn't do a single thing about it cuz he didn't know how to fight back then! He felt useless and definitely carries guilt over it 😭 Not to mention, Nayru, with her powers, is ageless but he and everyone else isn't. She'll live for a long time but who will protect her when they're gone? Ralph gets worried sick at all this, and figured no: becoming physically strong won't be enough.
So I had a thought (supported by Madra):
Now, Labrynna is a city state instead of monarchy, cuz Ralph's ancestor Queen Ambi probs wanted her subjects to live independantly with freedom (they also probably suffered from the time she got posessed or controlled by Veran so shes doing this to set them free). Does this mean his family or bloodline doesn't have much power anymore? Well, while he doesnt have formal power, I like to think he still has enough support that could make it count.
Lemme explain: Ralph is a fool with a gold heart. He may be naive, a lil reckless and hotheaded but he's really kind and sweet. I like to think even now, there will be folks around Labrynna who generally genuinely like this guy even with some flaws or shortcomings of his cuz he helped them out in some way or at some point in time even though he's a lil clumsy. The epitome of 'hes a little confused but he got the spirit!' kind of thing. It helps also that, during OOA when he was stuck in the past, he legit risked his life to uplift the spirits of the villagers when the place is on thick negative energy (or basically everyone being hopeless and probs depressed over their fate). He wasn't exactly able to save them, but after the adventure was over the villagers remember how he went over and rlly tried to help out. And ever since then they couldnt forget his kindness 🥹 so u can imagine that some descendants of the peeps who met Ralph in the past may look at present Ralph and think of that guy their grandparents told them abt u know?
That said, maybe Ralph isn't a prince with absolute power like during Queen Ambi's reign. But hes generally loved enough to have support and have some power. I also imagine his family or parents at least also had their own admirable achievements and well loved by folks too. Theres no mention of Ralph's family but he IS born nobility, and while his wealth may come from former Queen Ambi, I like to think that his parents or family helped stay relevant or be some backbone power for their city's society by supporting whatever they could. So he would have some default connections, resources and loyal allies within Labrynna that his family already made ties with (or heck, maybe they even managed to bramch off connections beyond Labrynna too? You never know!).
I'm sure Ralph wpuld take advantage of his preset/default ties, but I imagine he still goes out of his way to build his own connections, networks, and loyal allies within Labrynna. Link/Legend really inspired him to be more than be content with what he has— in a way that he could be be able to get his own strength and power and do what he can to help others, especially Nayru.
So he gathers his own ties independant from his family's. Maybe even goes farther than Labrynna and make times with other kingdoms or places like Holodrum, Hyrule and Hytopia. The more the merrier! And he won't just stop there: he hasn't forgotten about getting physically stronger for Nayru too, you know? He did train under Legend before he left for his next adventure! I imagine he tries to learn all he could about wielding a sword, practicing techniques and maybe going abt looking for more than one teacher to really up his strength. It's hard, both looking for mentors, and training under them especially when there are times he's afraid. But he thinks of Nayru, and then he steels himself. He can't falter! Not when his childhood friend's safety depends on him!
So, how did he go about meeting Ava and whats he like as a yandere?
Well, I like to think they met at Hytopia SKVSJSBEK It was a kingdom of style and fashion and Ava LOVES fashion or at least seeing the craftsmanship and beauty of it and so the chain and her dropped by to stay for some days while they gather resources and also mayhaps have some dates or spoil Ava with something. Meanwhile Ralph is out looking for pretty dresses for Nayru cuz his childhood friend deserves the BEST he says! That said, they kinda bumped into each other when they were inside a boutique of sorts. Ralph asked for Avas opinion about the best dresses there could be here, maybe thought she worked in this shop 😂 Ava helps out anyway, telling him her thoughts and they basically talked bonded over dresses and Nayru. In the end, as a thank you, Ralph for some reason bought all the dresses Ava was interested in. To say she was shocked is an understatement, but regardless of her protests, Ralph insists and legit payed for everything so Ava has no choice but to take them all.
When the chain found her, you can bet they were quite jealous on the mysterious fellow who bought her all of this, gave them near murdery vibes but for darling's sake they won't do anything... (and it probably invoked a competition between them like: who could provide the best/most gifts for Ava? Much to her fluster/dismay) She also didnt catch his name when they met earlier, so it slipped past Legend's radar.
But that's really all it took XD they meet in shops around Hytopia, Ralph is buying stuff for Nayru and Ava is either enjoying the sight or looking for materials. They bond, and geek out over the stuff at shop, before Ralph ends every meeting with buying her stuff she liked. And every single time, the chain's eye twitches or smth cuz at this point theyll KNOW it was the same guy cuz WHO BUYS GIFTS IN BULK THE WAY THIS ONE GUY DOES?? They would insist on going with her next time and some may even want to follow her a distance away— but this is Ava: they wont be able to stay unnoticed no matter how silent cuz her senses and magic is too keen 😭 she'll disappear in a blink from their sight in one second, and when the chain turns around they'll see her right behind them like 💀 they CANNOT follow her without her prior knowledge guys 🙏
And rn? Ava likes her geek buddy when she goes out shopping or looking for stuff. Shes still quite flustered and cant easily accept when he buys her stuff as a thank you, but she really enjoyed Ralph's company. So she'll keep his identity a secret from the chain for now KDHVBSUDNSUC At some point she legit went LOOKING for him to treat HIM cuz Ava cant accept all these gifts without giving him SOMETHING in return for it, and also his pleasant company 😭 and u know what Ralph laughs but accepts.
It got to a point that when Ralph introduces Ava to Nayru, Nayru was the one feeling like a third wheel between him and Ava bcs of how much they vibed and excitedly get along so well. Does she mind? Not at all! Shes so happy and relieved Ralph had a new friend he genuinely enjoyed talking THIS much to other than focusing so much on her. She really appreciates his devotion and concern but he also deserves to enjoy or have fun with other people's company, you know? So she laughs, teases Ralph that he might have a new crush or smth which Ralph thinks is like, unthinkable bcs, Nayru he rlly thought u were IT. Even if he now thinks of her as a sister to care for he never rlly thought theres someone else he could possibly fall for cuz, in his eyes SHE was perfect.
Well, until Ava 😂
He didnt realize it for some time, but Nayru could see it; shes never seen her friend talk so animatedly with so much joy when with someone else that isnt her. He wasnt even trying to shut down these strange feelings either; he welcomed it and actively engaged with Ava.
What really cemented everything was when he got kidnapped that one time JSUCNAUFNDJ
Idk who yet, but an evil force or some low fry sent on orders took him hostage cuz hes pretty valuable, but before anything malicious happens to him Ava finds him and defeats the guy. Did she know Ralph got kidnapped? No. She got separated from the chain and mayhaps got kidnapped too. So when she and Ralph each other both of their reactions were just "OO 🧍♀️🧍♂️" 😂 They were BOTH surprised. Ralph is very embarrassed he let this happen and WILL strive to never let this happen again, meanwhile Ava finds it funny they keep bumping into each other so often like this beyond shopping.
Either way, they both dealt w the kidnappers and got out fine. When Ava saved him and looked out for him, Ralph felt his heart thump against his chest while they fought together. And when they got out? Well, yeah, hes a goner now— Nayru u won. He DID fall in love and now hes kicking himself but also screaming like aaAAAAAAAAAAAAA
As for what hes like as a yandere for Ava... Hes obviously gonna be the guy who spoils her the most XD The chain would all want to do that but Ralph could buy off a whole estate if Ava even scraped her knee on a poorly designed pavement AND blame it on the pavement as if it was person 😭 he has it bulldozed, rebuilt and now itll be a building or place for whatever Ava or the chain needs.
Hes the type to buy everything she wants. He can buy SHOPS out of stock until they cant open for a month if she wanted everything inside the shop (but knowing Ava she wouldnt, so Ralph also wouldnt).
Also the type to NOT be calm over darling slander. He's ready to fight and defend her honor and Ava has to convince him every time to NOT duel with innocents or unarmed individuals. Doesnt mean he wouldnt try tho
Oh, and as nobility, he has the facilities and power that could provide Ava the comfiest, prettiest shelter. She could have her whole garden, has a walk in closet, her own sewing room, and everything else shed need in one place. She only needs to ask and she'll have it by a moment's notice.
Ralph! What a delight! I saw your Wip but the finished product is incredible! Personally I enjoy how you kept to the spirit of his original design while making it fresh and original.
He definitely looks like he can from a Royal line. And while he looks rather composed on your piece, I have no doubt the short tempered fool with a golden heart is right there when provoked by the right person (Legend)
Truly a lovely piece! I’m glad to see your art each and every time lovely!
