honestly, these past few years have been really tough for me, but no matter what this series always managed to cheer me up, or captivate me with its world… it just felt so free, y’know? Like this show really was the opposite of what Rapunzel’s life was before, being locked in a tower and alone most of the time- and just to see her be free- it helped me feel free too (hghhhh this sounds so cheesy, but I really mean it)

and that’s not even mentioning the fandom- I’d never really been in any fandom’s like this before, they were always so big, and kinda toxic. I was afraid to talk to anyone or post about anything, but this fandom has been the most welcoming one I’ve ever been in- not to mention one of the most fun!! It hardly feels like there’s any judgments, and there’s been so many amazing interactions with so many amazing people.

There are so many characters in the series that are strong and relatable and made me feel like I had a voice- especially Adira, who is shown as a strong warrior despite being touch-avoidant… idk, seeing someone like her really meant a lot to me, not to mention seeing Rapunzel grow outside her shell after being abused for so long, Cass struggling to find her place in the world, and Varian, who always tried to come back after failure.
