Adriel, beginning of the campaign: I have no family. The only person who ever cared about me is gone. My best friends are all rats.
Adriel, part-way through the campaign: I have my Dad and he’s a dragon which is sweet as hell. I’m a little less sad than I was before.
Adriel, now: I have two dads, a mom, and aunt and uncle, a step-dad, two brothers, four pets, a castle, I’m a king... Oh did I mention that I killed death? Because I killed death.
